If I had a cap, and some fighter jock started shooting at me, I'd probably toss some RP his way. Something along the lines of "Are you SURE you want to do that," perhaps punctuated with a warning shot or two. Then if he continued, well, by all means.. weapons free.

I will be starting a campaign for "guns only" fights soon. None of yer missile tomfoolery or yer sneaky mines.

Gentlemen prefer guns.

I use guns all the time. I tend to forget my Sabre even has a Sidewinder attached. :$

...before I gave it up, I had a Raven Claw with no missiles, cept the CD. From what I've read, I think I might've been one of very few like that. >.>

So another one then...

Missiles one is fine, two...ok, three and your showing your lack of skill, four or more and you can eat my trian CDs! Only the skilled warriors fight with guns, Greater warriors fly real close and reach out of their cockpits to get you with a knife!

and the "//GF" I am getting sicker of it, since recently I did horrible, and it was not a good fight, not at all, it was a very bad fight, very very bad, one I don't want to rememberhow bad I was........going to cry now.

Here's a few ... most you've already mentioned ...

1. "Engaging hostile" ... same thing as the simple "engaging" plus one word ... annoying as heck.

2. Hunters showing up to collect in capships (sometimes with friends in capships) ... rules and proper bounty postings are cracking down on this phenomenon.

3. Lawfuls attacking pirates with no bounties on them ... don't mind being harassed with a little verbal role play such as "don't cause any trouble pirate ... or we'll come down hard on you." But please ... keep the guns stowed until you have evidence I've actually done something wrong. Even cops cannot arrest a criminal without evidence ... wouldn't stand up in court and the judge would yell at the cop for wasting the court's time.

4. Traders posting 100 mil bounties on a pirate and then complaining when a pirate demands 5 mil. Come on ... get real. By this I mean there are too many "forum" complaints about how much a pirate demands ... yet these are the same guys posting the outrageous bounties. Don't be a hypocrite.
