My shift started normally - everything was very quiet and peaceful until I recieved a distress call from LNS-Providence. He was requesting assistance for two pirate bombers assaulting him. I set the Nav computer to his coordiantes. After a prolonged fight me and an LSF agent were able to terminate the threat and the pirates were arrested.
The Chief strikes once again from the shadows. Unknown and feared, the trembling John Doe Masket was brought down by two goons and dragged to his new Liberator -- and promotion.
Evil laughter is heard coming from the Chief's office.
We haven't heard from you in quite awhile, nor have we seen any patrol reports from you. Also, recruit officers start out in a patriot, not a Liberator. Most new Liberators are going to the Navy. Also , we have reports of funny talk on the systems comms (//ooc).

In the coming weeks, all nomad weaponry will be banned form Liberty. Keep an eye out on individuals who have them and make a note of them. The only people who will have said weaponry will be using it to shoot at you, I.E. Nomads, Wilde, Order, Keepers.
We are still awaiting word if the Navy and the LSF are going to retain these weapons or not. We will make another announcement when the ban goes into place.

I apologize for being off the radar for abit, I haven't been able to patrol due to the constant Ion Storms and heavy traffic of which I have never before seen the like.
On a brighter note though, I am glad to inform you that my Liberator has been fully equipped, is ready for duty and awaiting orders at Illinois.

Events: 5 Transports breaking the embargo were caught. 4 cooperated and turned around. 1 resisted. Charged with one count of carrying gate/lane parts, two counts of breaking trade embargo (he came back from new berlin with more cargo), two counts of resisting arrest, and one count of firing on an LPI officer.

Summary: We patrolled NY and Texas, stopping anyone we found breaking the embargo, surprisingly 4 of them cooperated and turned around. One however ignored our orders, made no communications and fled the scene, he later returned and the incident was repeated, however I did not have the firepower to stop him as other LPI officers were chasing down other smugglers, and the navy was busy with an order invasion at manhattan.
The day began quietly. I met officer JD and we headed to Texas to perform Customs duty (inspect ships for embargo violation and smuggling). We barely got there when it began. Three ships were upprehanded violating the trade embargo and were asked to drop their cargo or turn around. Surprisingly they all obeyed our orders and turned around to Rheinland.
About 1 hour after that, I was heading back to NY responding to a Smuggler being spotted call. On my way back I caught a Zoner smuggling atrifacts to Manhattan. I advised him to stop and he refused. He also had the nerve to offer me a bribe.
After I chased him all the way to manhattan and officer Aiden came to assist, we tried to stop him but he managed to dock on the planet. Photo evidence of the smuggled goods is attached below:
