(#k per second = 5000 Cargo Profit / time to raech destination)
One annoyance I find, is that their are Absolutely No similiarly profitable (9-12k per second runs) in-house routes for Gallia. In a way, making GMS / IDF / EFL RP to a secondary roleplay as they can't properly earn money. Most I saw i believe were around 4k per second.
If this is being changed in the Core System Release, good. But otherwise id like to note that it needs to be changed. GMS, IDF, EFL, in keeping their public loyalties (GMS secretly supporting Council) to the Royals, would only be able to, inRP, trade Within Gallia.
[Edit2]Past all of that, a few InHouse trading could use an increase to be equally as profitable as some other runs. With Liberty and Rheinland now at war, there should be more activity concerning Military Supplies, EX: Detroit Munitions to various Battleships
While the change did get rid of max-money powertraders, it also hurt RP Trade. The majority of profitable runs are 20-30 minute runs which put in various territories with various groups of pirates.

Yep. It's fully illegal and 90% jump holes, but possible. ~3,5k transport will get about 10mil profit for a single direction run, taking about 10 minutes. Multiply that by six.
Now, as I have said before, the proceeds IMO should be much better for contraband. In any case, power trading is possible, although much more disencouraged by the admins, as I think it should be.

@People who say the trading system is worse than before: There are a few bugs in the system here and there, it's beta. 4.84 was far worse in this regard.
I'd rather discovery offer a plethora of well-balanced RP routes than a handful of really powerful routes... some with questionable RP. Our economy is in good hands.

i'm going to correct myself because i really overshot my estimates, one way _does_ take around 20mins. It's completely inRP for some of my characters to scavenge wrecks while doing it, and finding a couple of codes would mean extra 20-30mil in a flash.
Still, even normal trading means that's 30mil right there, and unless you're aiming for a battleship that's perfectly enough. What exactly are you going to do with that 300mil after a week of trading, anyway? If you have played enough to be on good terms with the faction providing the battleship, they'll just give you the money for it.
Anyway I was off big time and apologize, I'll edit my former posts accordingly :)
@ Flash Mp: The problem comes where you've got all these traders who won't role play. That's one of the reasons the Diamond/Niobium Run got sacked. Nobody likes chasing a trader that runs silent or that says, "just kill me its cheaper."

So what is that route which makes 30 million an hour? (Or any others that do as I am making like 12 million an hour currently.)
