attention whore =P

it's fine, but big lines make it cartoony.
Also, I doubt hackers are hardly patriotic to deserve themselves a libertonian star as emblem.

"Big lines"? You mean the background? It's supposed to give it a distorted monitor appearance. You hardly see nice, clean, small lines with that.

And that's just following the only Hacker logo that has been in use so far. I didn't make it, I just replicated it cleaner.

well the fact is it contrasts too much with the smaller brushes you used in border.

Big lines make it feel like we are staring in a low resolution screen, yette small brushes shows some sort of very high definition high tech display scheme.

The tech brushes are simply brightened sections of the "monitor", actually, so they're still distorted just as much as the face, ship, and stars. Look a little harder.

Edit: I'll blur them a smidge for good measure.

There, I see what you were getting at. Blurred to match.

New avy. Was getting a bit tired of seeing Sephiroth's face both on my avy and sig, no matter how much win he has:P

I'd make it so that there was no glow outside of the main part's border, but I'm too lazy to do that by hand, so w/e.

EDIT: Meh, fixed the glow.

Scanlines seem way too big still Orin. 2px max is what I use. Those fat scanlines along with the flat, monotone coloring of everything makes me think of something very low tech... FL's GUI comes to mind...
Also, I second Exile's motion of wanting to punch that kid right in the face. The eyes and nose are annoying, but tolerable. However, in combination with the fat lips and overbite of his mouth, I just can't look at him without having to break something.
