So, the flea is a super light fighter...to be honest the thing is quite lethal, given the right pilot. A Guardian vhf can be munched up by three fleas, even if flown quite good, even tho it takes specialization. One flea has all stunpulses, other has hammers, third has a mix of both, but the idea remains. The arrow showed much promice, two class 9 guns and all. Mount a CB and a Debilitator on it and everything's fine.
But how about a extreamly light fighter with, say, one class 9 or 8 weapon. a class 4 shield...
Heavy ships are good but...you know...not all can use them. O.o so yeah...lack of freelancer online...left with only with open SP and meh...you know...yes im bored, i even made a Pirate ELF c.c
so you want a ship thats extremely fast and manuverable, and what, cant be killed? Any LF is going to die to a mine, most VHF's die to a single mine now, I dont exactly see your point.
the arrow out turns the starflier, but is a lot larger, the starflier is small - but anyone that has 2 buddies and ganks on one VHF could also do so in 3 VHF and be much better - so whats the point.... - the nomad LF is out of competition anyway.
Small, agile, ships, i mean, very agile, with the armour of maybe 1k and ...dunno. No mines, no CDs, only a CM. Not enough cargo to mount armour upgrades.
the fighters we have are ... lets put it that way.... annoying enough. - and due to our rules, a fighter that can simply dodge all day long is NOT GOOD.
what is the result?
the VHF pilot is maybe totally untouchable... - but if he retreats.. he must leave the system for 4 hours. - so what will he do? - endure the super light fighter - not until one of them died, but until one of them gets bored?
if one could retreat from a fight without suffering such a penalty - yes.. then it would work.
edit: that refers to a completely "useless" ship that still engages another "useful" ship in pvp. -
