I did say "SP notwithstanding" in one of my other posts in this thread. However, I knew exactly what the response was going to be anyway, so, I pose this question to you;

Why exactly do you want it to stay as a specifically Order vessel?

Also, you say you'll never let anyone take the Osiris away from you. Why should hardcore Corsair players think differently?

I'll list why the Osiris is an important vessel to the Corsairs;

-There are more Osiris bases belonging to the Corsairs than there are to the Order, counting guard bases.
-There are the same amount of Osiris bases belonging to the Corsairs and the Order, not counting guard bases.
-Back during the RM-TBH war, the last battle featured the Altaneria (Osiris) being torn apart by the Rheinland Military, and the capture of the then-defacto leader of the Corsairs (due to the absence of the OPG or the Benitez as major powers at the time), Pedro Maniaco.
-The Prox was the first battleship that the Brotherhood ever owned, and is present in Omicron 91 as a lasting reminder of that fact.
-The Talos is the main seat of Benitez power, rather than a battleship of Dreadnought class, for reasons stated by Carlos himself.
-The Artemis was specifically constructed as fire support for invasion fleets and as extra reinforcement for the Memoria, which was constructed in order to comemorate the memories of Pedro Maniaco.

Thats what I have off the top of my head. The big one there is the RM-TBH war though. I dont recall players of the Order participating in anything of the sort.

The importance of the Osiris to the Corsairs cannot be simply swept aside. Well, it can, but you will find fierce resistance to such changes.

Well at that time Bs| was allied witht he RM or something wasn't it? And I don't see the Order fighting a war with the corsairs against rheinland.

Anyways, I don't mind if the corsairs keep the Osiris, just saying at heart it's an Order ship. It was made by the Order and will always be Order. If someone wants to re-skin a 2nd version of it and make it more corsair-ish go ahead, if not then fine by me.

The Order (Bs|) was allied with both TBH and RM at the time, I think. They stayed out of that war completely, as did Corsair indies, since Rheinland just got spammed by lunchboxes before that restriction was put down.

Also, the Osiris was not "made" by the Order, it was made by Liberty. If we could turn back time, the Osiris should be manufactured by the Liberty Navy and only a single Osiris be available for the Order| faction.

You say that, at heart, its an Order ship. Im inclined to agree, but you havent said why, you have only said that it just "is". You also ignored the point about a duplicated Osiris wasting mod space...

hey its an Order ships but Corsair have the plans for it so im all for re-skinning a Corsair version of it, as a sign of Memorabilia, and the Base should be hidden in a system far far away...

I just think this is a stupid argument, and I don't want involvement really.

It's a ship stolen by the founder of the Order, and now in the Disco mod more of it's kind have come into existance. Then the Order and the Corsairs formed an alliance and exchanged tech, which included the plans for the Osiris which were given to the corsairs who produced it at Tripoli.

I think we can all agree on that. Is it still sold at tripoli or any corsair bases though? I heard it wasn't but I'm not sure.

Anyways, I don't mind if both factions use it, it's appropiate, if the corsairs wish to make it look more corsair-ish then go ahead, if not then that's ok too.

As for this ridiculous order-corsair tech ship weapon whateverthehell argument, I'm out.

Its not sold on any Corsair bases anymore. This question of yours was already answered in a different thread, by me, no less >_<.

I was under the impression that people would still be pressing for Corsair factions to remove their Osiris' in the future, or deny any Corsairs the ability to purchase a new one just because it isn't sold anywhere but Evora anymore. If this is not the case, then I've been making a mountain out of a molehill.

As to why the Osiris is no longer sold in Corsair bases, well, ask the dev team... not me cause I was not involved in that part of the process hehe. Except the part about putting the Osiris only in Evora.

If corsairs want to get more Osiris's... then, well... idk heh'.

i think the reason why it was Removed from Sair bases was the Fact that,

The sair GB was sold on Crete? i thin...But now its sold on Tripoli and on crete the Light Fighter has taken its Place therefore having 3 ships at both Crete and Tripoli and Skiros station being over 30k? away from planet crete and its Orbital fleet and Defense systems the ship not inclined to be put on Skiros station basically because of incoming BH and OC attacks from Omicron Theta, which is roughly 10k away from the shipyard Skiros.

(so the Corsairs woul not be able too build Osiris's at Skiros because they would be blown away in the Process by incoming Hostiles.)

Well, with my retcon suggestion, the dockable Osiris bases belonging to Corsairs could be replaced with dockable Legates...
