Currently, my trader runs Gaian Wildlife, Diamonds, Mining Machines, and Quantum Multiplexors. Between Rheinland and Kusari. What ID should I have, and what ship is most in RP?
I see 2 ways.
1) By Rheinland shipping ID and Rheinland shippend transport for 5000 cargo.
2) By Kishiro Tehnologies ID and Kusari any transport.
I use Orbital Spa and Cruise ID and Liener because it's all in RP. With Orbital Soa and Cruise ID you can't use ships with cargo more 4500. Liener have 4300 cargo

You can't use any of those ID's if you move Gaian wildlife, that is smuggling and is considered an unlawful action which is not permitted by those ID's as they are for lawful factions. Otherwise those ID's are fine. Except of course hauling cargo (that is not people) in an OS&C ID'd liner, that is definitely OORP. I dont know if you could get sanctioned for it but it definitely OORP. If you were part of OS&C and were hauling cargo you would be using a ship designed to haul cargo, not a liner.
not so sure if transporting gaian wildlife is an unlawful action... - even a trader can do the occasional unlawful transporting. ( blockade breaking is unlawful, too )
gaian wildlife is only illegal in bretonia - and if you re quick, you spend almost not time in bretonia - if edinbourgh is considered bretonia anyway ( its more a bordersystem - and the last bretonian part of it is a jumphole with a borderstation that is quite far away )
the danger transporting wildlife are the gaians who d not hesitate to shoot you down... but thats not illegal then, just dangerous - besides, its offered on a planetform base, which is also not illegal - an unlawful wouldn t be able to dock there. - so taking wildlife to lets say a profitable place makes you spend 5% of the route where its not really legal - and 95% where no one cares about it.
a smuggler is good - but imo not necessary. if you d apply it to all goods that may or may not be illegal "somewhere" - then half the goods are contraband, cause half the goods are illegal somewhere.
That's right. Ecept for one thing - you can sometimes buy contraband on lawful bases (yeah, that kind of contraband which considered illegal by the local authorities) so buying something from a lawful base does not neccessarily mean that transporting the cargo is legal. For eample, you can get Slaves on one of the LPI prison stations in Texas...
@Jinx, yeah, you're probably right. I suppose as long as you arent using a Bretonian ID it would be ok. Although I would be interested in knowing what constitutes an unlawful act if smuggling does not. An unlawful act as far as you're home house says?
