I was moving cargo with my smuggler and got to thinking. What if we had a dedicated "smuggling" ship. Say the Pirate Trans. What if the first 50 cargo you put in it were "un-scanable", sort of like they were in a smuggling hold. You could then trade legitimate cargo when needed while still propping up profits with a little card in the hold. I don't know if this is even possible or has been discussed befor but thaught I'd throw it out there. Any thaughts?
Simple, get the various House navies to ignore a certain amount of illegal goods in a cargo hold. Of course, hard to hide military vehicles but can be done.
I think some factions already do this though.
ANY players scanner shows only the first 5-6 stackable/non stackable goods when scanned. when rushing, they dont bother to scroll down, pack the first seven or so slots with a crew, food, fuel, ect and fill the rest with cardi.

Spaceship crew appears alphabetically after cardamine... as a matter of fact, few things appear before it.

This is currently how I do it as well. If this was done you could still do that, but you'd at least get away with 50 (illegal goods) even if the coppers found the stash mixed with other goods. Would be interesting no?
Maybe most cops would agree to a "blind eye" concept if things were used to hide illegal goods.
Say pharmaceuticals to hide synthetic marijuana, and mining machinery to hide military vehicles.
Vacationers and VIPs to hide slaves, fertilizers and toxic waste to hide nuclear materials.
And so on... can't think of any more, but I like this concept. Of course it would take some opinions of the lawfuls in here to help decide.
As a lawful police pilot, I'd just like to say that "hiding" your cargo under a bunch of other cargo like oxygen, water, food, and crew doesn't really work. It takes me all of one second to scroll down and find your real cargo.

Any more ideas on this?
I wish more smugglers would do that. I guarantee my lazy LPI isn't going to take the time to sift through all that stuff to find some cardi.
