//This is all in the making and i will update here as we progress. And i will write as someone who tells in //person.

Our History:
The CSS started as an independet resistance cell within the Council, which was founded and lead by the Dupont family.
We often paved the way for the Council Navy and Army by infiltrating and taking out vital defense systems or supply bases. This was not always possible without civillian losses, but we always tried our best to prevent them. Officially the Council didnt approve to this, but since we have been way more carefull than the Maquis we did stay in good favour.
Our group was mainly responsible for the near bloodless taking of Nimes station in 814 AS, as we took over all important systems of the station, before the Council fleet arrived.
As right now, the great battles are fought and we await a new offensive of the GRN.
We did change ourselves to become a secret service. As we as a family had the most experience with that kind of work, we have been invited by the Council gouvernment to lay out and found the new CSS. Which is a request we did gladly follow.
Since we saw the need to defend ourselves and all of the Council worlds and bases, we started to commission our own fleet. It started as a small group of fighters, but is slowly growing and still does.
We have financed this with the money from our own trading company, which our family did run before the war. Dupont Shipping was a large trading company with a huge amount of resources, and because of that, we usually use trading vessels as cover, since we have great experience in that field as well.
What we are Now:
Outside of Gallia we pose as simple traders or escort ships for the traders. Mostly to hear what is going on in Sirius and to make new contacts and possible friends and allies. Since the Council is in no position to hold out against the better equipped and outnumbering Gallic Royal Navy we decided it is time to act now and become more involved outside of Gallia.
Also we tell the people who as us where we come from, that we are refugees from the terrible war that happens in Gallia. That civillians are opressed by the regime there, and that we only are here to make a living and live in freedom.
Inside of Gallia we have the authority to act as police force or use military means if a target requires it. Trying not to interfere with goals of the navy but supporting them, as is our tradition.
But we are not under navy command as we act under the president of the CSS and he is part of the Council High Command.
Mostly the CSS is still under Dupont leadership with my father Jean Dupont holding the rank of President of the CSS. We gladly accept others to help us in our struggle for freedom.
So we are open to new recruits who want to fight at our side.
We are allies of the Navy and also Gallic unlawful factions, since we understand their way better, than the Council does as a whole. We dont approve the way of the Maquis but understand that its not possible to allow the use of human shields, to prevent the fight for freedom. Because if we start to do that, the GRN will put civilians on all of their ships, stations and military installations.
We are stationed in the Champagne system on Chalons-en-Champagne station, from which we start our missions in the Burgundy system or resupply. From here we also watch over the traders and enforce Council law.
Right now we are 6 Agents operating within our group of the CSS who form the inner circle should we grow more
Le President Jean Dupont (proudly to announce is played by razr:))
Inner Circle (commanding staff)
Lieutenant Colonel Fleur Dupont (cruiser and flagship La Liberte)
Major Jeanne Dupont (gunboat La Resistance, bomber)
Capitaine Xavier Dupont (gunboat La Revolution, Battleship La Superiorite)
Premier Lieutenant Rene Descartes (Leads the Fighters, Bombers)
Lieutenant Henry Dupont (fighter pilot, gunboat La Confiance)
Lieutenant Maxime Dupont
Agents:
Many vacant positions to fill. We can always use more fighter and Bomber pilots who keep order in the Champagne System and harass the GRN in Burgundy.
But we as a group consider these ranks as rather unneeded, since we decide democratically what to do next. Those ranks are only needed for battle or if a final word has to be spoken.
Structure:
Money we earn is given to our bank, which we use to support ship comissions and the men and woman who fight in battles.
This means we always support our group financially in the best possible way. The inner Circle decides what is needed mostly at the given moment. Agents may always ask what they need and take part in the process of decision making.
One for all and all for one so to speak.
Right now we dont pose any restrictions on ships our members may fly. But if we grow we may restrict it, as its all a matter of what we can support financially by our trading in Sirius. Our resources are not limitless as is clear if one looks at the Council situation.
Except that Gallic ships stay in Gallia and outside we use ships allowed to Freelancers.
Motto:
Vive la Liberte!
We dont:
First we dont force our members to fly ships they dont like, or do things they dont want to, or play along as subordinate command takers. We are free willed resistance fighters against a tyranny. We dont are a tyranny ourselves.
Second we accept server rules and ID rules. So we dont Pirate for example.
We dont act openly outside of Gallic space, no IFF or ID that says Council.
Telling someone the truth about us requires aproval of the group.
If the need arises for us to regulate something as a whole, we will decide it as a group in a vote.
//With the exception, that we may use other ships for a short duration, out of Roleplay reasons, you later //will find in my log if you so wish.
//Usually i speak for us if the need arises and forum participation of the members is wanted but not needed.
//If any of us behaves badly please tell me so, so that we can talk about it. I also have skype if need arises //:).
//That would be it for now:)\\
A longer history would be nice, as well as a longer list of current actions. I know I sound hypocritical, (have a look at some of my other faction statuses, which I pride myself in doing, even though I'm not that good) but are there some activities you don't do? I suggest abandoning the idea of operating furthur than Languadoc or Champagne in order to... differentiate yourself from a standard Council faction.
Other than that, fairly good. Add a bit of colour, pictures, etc... I once had the same idea as this, and have somewhat of a good history behind it. I don't think I belong in the council, but contact me if you want.

Hi thanks for your feedback:).
We will add some pictures and stuff once we have made up our minds and add to the history. This is just the start so to speak.
On the matter of radius of operations. With Gallic Ships only in Gallia.. undercover outside of Gallia where the tides of fortune bring us;). That is to us, set in stone, as we dont (at least i and Jeanne) i repeat DONT play 3400 chars of 200 different factions. This means we are present as what we play and dont have other commitments and dont play this with half a heart.
And in my personal opinion, its absolutely wrong to think, that a desperate resistance against a much stronger enemy would not look for help everywhere.
And its absolutely not against the rules to operate outside of Gallia for Gallic Chars.
If the need arises yes, but only in Gallia. I dont see a problem with that. We may not be the navy but a influential organisation with a resistance background.
But actually we prefer more subtle methods.
Gunboats and Bombers will always fit us more than a battleship or cruiser if we need to take out a big target with blunt force of arms.
