Well, in Photoshop, you could add blending effects to make 'em more noticeable. Also, I think that if you added a sufficient glow to the sun, you'd be able to put it in front of the border without it looking weird.

Maybe move the ship a bit further to the center to distance it from the Junker Congress symbol. Right now, there's lots of room, yet it feels cramped on the right.

i know:(damnit its confusing. i tried to render the salvager that one have a lot of materials. need to make it i guess, and its a little flat so i dont know what angle to take the SS

Give it a glow, at the very least. However, f you're still using Gimp, I don't know how to do that.
