Well, if Kusari was able to take over Bretonia's core worlds, this would lead to a number of things.

Kusari would probably be quick to erase any remnant of Bretonian culture and politics they can, either installing a Kusari-styled government over Bretonia or simply ruling directly through military force. It is doubtful they'd accept the Molly Republic as a soviergn entity, and would probably go after it.

Even if they didn't however, remnants of the Bretonian house, Mollies, possibly Gaians, and maybe even the Wilde would start nipping at the KNF in bretonia. So they'd have to trihage some of their holdings to protect the important stuff like jumpgates, shipyards, planets, and important facilities.

A worse fate however would befall the Kusari core worlds. With the KNF sending everything into the Taus, the BD, GC, \CS\, Outcasts, and maybe Bretonian Privateers and Kusari Wild would have a field day.

When you factor in a potential alliance of all of the above factions (exepting the Wild), Kusari is going to get it's heart torn out. The Hogosha and AFA may be able to hold off the GC easily, and even surpress the Blood Dragons and NovaPG, You have other factions such as Kiretsu, which has the direct support of the Outcasts, Bretonian Privateers, who would probably move to base themselves out of GC or BD bases, the Consortium who are going to go streight for Kusari's industry and infrastructure, and the Outcasts may or may not take the oppurtunity to send large forces in to stabilise their holdings in the Taus.

So, even if Kusari wins, it loses.

If Kusari take over Bretonia the balance of the 4 house system, will be broken i didnt think that Liberty or Rheinland let a house to control a half of the resources in civilized Space.

But, Liberty and Rheinland are so busy fighting each other that they wouldn't be able to do much. In fact I think that both of them would fight for an alliance with Kusari to make sure their back door is closed to aggressors.

I think as soon as their advance starts to slow too much, they'll try to get a peace settlement. Kusari will surely want the Taus, including the resources BMM is getting in Tau-23, as well as Planet Harris, and possibly Orkney.

An interesting idea would be for them to demand Bretonia recognize Molly independence as part of a treaty. That would put the Mollys in a very pro-Kusari light.

With that in mind, Planet Cambridge is where Kusari really needs to get to. It's the food producer, without that, Bretonia will be in for a lot more trouble.

Of course, that assumes there won't be a sudden change otherwise. The situation seems precarious, if there's a shift in power, Kusari could lose all they've gained.

i actually think that kusari wont defeat bretonia...it may be even other way around. one can never know tides of war...

I expect that Bretonia will manage to get some interesting stuff done, and possibly get Liberty on their side. After all, Kusari has probably had to pull pretty much all their fleet out to fight Bretonia and take part of Leeds, which likely leaves their flanks rather vulnerable right now...

It would seem to me that at some point, either Liberty or Rheinland would join this war. Neither house would allow Kusari to control that much territory or to jeopardize trade relations by taking over Bretonia. A well, the relationships between all the houses are too deep and strong to allow one to be destroyed.

Personally, I think that Kusari wouldn't bother trying to convert Bretonia into more Kusari. They would probably install a puppet government, then bleed Bretonia dry of money and resources, probably realizing that eventually, they're going to lose control of the territory. But by then, the place would be so ruined that Kusari might just pull out, heaving a blackened husk of a house for the Bretonians to try and rebuild.

All these wars in this game never end with anything mildy interesting.

Kusari should take the taus, and that would be a nice change, Perhaps make Tau 31 a "demillitarized" zone

if kusari won......they would have a puppet goverment of bretonians who they ruled form the shadow's.

i think it would be more likely that if kusari was to win. they would need to support a coup that they would end up controlling.

but kusari will never win. i think that they will lose what they have in the taus. and then leeds. and then with help from the outcasts. bretonia will invade a core system of kusari. and then kusari will settle for peace. and end up losing most of thier holdings in the taus
