yeah... the reason Gallia is empty is that it was pretty much designed to make it really difficult to get there and play there. I love the idea, and am still definitely looking forward to seeing the Gallic core systems and how Gallia interacts with Sirius once their offensive begins.
Maybe a Russian Federation? Or Chinese Empire. Either way yeah, let's finish the houses that are already here before moving on. And in all truth if the mod is hopefully only going to run another 2 years or so, that's not much time to really worry about adding so much more.

' Wrote:Some parts of the middle east are capitalist and dominate the oil industry plus have there own royal families. I doubt such people in the Sol Wars would have turned to the Side of the Coalition!
Just dont fit
Consider the following scenario:
In the mid-21st century, the last major deposits of middle eastern oil have been drained. Every major economy has shifted to other means of energy production, leaving formerly wealthy oil barons destitute. With the last major economic resource in the region drained, the west turns it's eyes away from the middle east, and slowly the region slides into chaos, as western-supported governments collapse, one by one.
After decades of fighting between various Islamic fundamentalist militias, the people become weary of the constant fighting, and begin to turn towards a more moderate socialist party. A single charismatic leader rises to the leadership of the party, and slowly begins to unite the region under one banner.
With the capitalist west no longer interested in the middle east, the party's leader turns to the newly reconstituted Soviet Union for assistance. The Soviet Union, short on allies, agrees and begins to send military and economic aid to the region. Within a decade and a half, the middle east starts to settle into a more peaceful state, and support for the islamic militias starts to fall away at an accelerated rate.
Within two decades after that, the middle east is firmly and proudly under the rule of a Communist government, and is a loyal member of the new Coalition.
See? A bit of a stretch, maybe, but not that far-fetched.

That must be one of the best arguments I've ever heard. I could clearly see the Middle East turning into this.
Someone mentioned Russia and China...ummm, sorry to burst your bubble, but they were the LEADERS of the Coalition. There's no way we would get an Alliance House from them. The only remnants of China in the Alliance are the Chinatowns in Liberty and the descendants of the Taiwanese people who were absorbed into Kusari.
In case you don't know, after the Chinese Civil War, the Communists seized mainland China while the Chinese Nationalist Party retreated to Taiwan and continued running what was left of the Republic of China from there.
