I think it's also along the lines that it's a good idea for pilots of a single faction to spread out and play other facets of the conflict. A lot of devoted military/police players have the Hero Syndrome where pirate/unlawful factions are Bad People, or strawmen waiting to be used as target practice using any and all force at one's disposal.

I had this issue in Liberty when I had a Hacker, where I would get literally swarmed by fighters, bombers and gunboats belonging to Navy and Bounty Hunter factions and independents. The mentality was "We had the forces available and in real life overwhelming force is always used by law enforcement". If it wasn't that it was "They do it to us so we're taking it out on you".

People with this mentality need to fly other factions sometimes. Going by personal experience there.


Also, I've been after the .:j:. to be more present in Bretonia, and to interact with the BAF/BPA and House Corporations where possible. I've got a guideline for conduct on paper detailing Congress operations and a How-To Guide for dealing with the law. As it's yet to be published, I can tell the boys to be more daring and dastardly if it'll make things interesting (they'll welcome the added freedom), but I don't want to get our lawful landing rights revoked as a result. There'll have to be some careful political wrangling there, I guess.

EDIT: I'll also be on my independent Molly when I can, if there's a number of BAF on. Just don't let the player battleships bulldoze me and tell me 'leave or die' upon sight.

Well, if indies count and this is just about broadening horizons, then I'm fine already with my rogue. However, if you're trying to get more enemies for Bretonia, I suppose I could hold the nav map the wrong way up while travelling through Magellan.

101st, RoS, NovaPG and Kiretsu,

I've got a Corsair indi, I'll sit that up in Omega-3 a bit more, but, not right now... It's carrying some stuff.

I've been tempted to get an independent KNF char too, I'll get that going at a later date, I've got stuff to be checking/testing on my various characters ( i.e. loadouts and ships and whatnot).

EDIT: I'll just say I'd agree with what Kuraine said... add GC to the list if you have Kiretsu, and maybe NovaPG.
