seriously....we need more money for mission...800K~900K mission is hard to see...becomes impossible for people dont really have much time to play FL everyday to make money...trading takes huge chunck of time and it doesnt make as much money as before...Mining takes even more time...>.<...we are playing the game..not played by the game...we are not playing WoW....
right...we need better payed missions...and maybe this will also help factions with training I mean its not as easy as it sounds to destroy 4 or 5 Corsair Osirises...will give the factions a possiblility to train teamfights , and bomberfights vs the NPCs.
Additionally trading is considered to be the lifeblood of the server, without it what would pirates do? And what would BH's and mercs do if they could never find pirates? Etc, etc...
Instead of increasing pay for weak missions
"Fly 20k away from base and blow up some ships and come back, here's 800k"

Liberty Navy base mission board:
"We will pay you 25,000,000$ to fly to New Berlin, IN RHEINLAND and Destroy a new battleship on it's maiden flight, and bring back the admiral ; ALIVE. Difficulty: Nearing impossible."

All stations and planets allied to lawful Rheinland factions will be hostile along the way.

You gotta contend with the hostile NPCs AND PCs and the Battleship is deadly with its escorts by itself...
This is an interesting idea but I really dont feel it would be worth the effort it would take to program, if it is even possible to do missions that are multiple systems away. I do like that it would add some variety and challenges to missions.
My biggest issue with the idea is that this is not a PVE server or mod. I dont think the developers would want to invest the time and effort this would require to add something that is leaps and bounds apart from the primary purpose of the mod, which is RP.
Additionally I think it could detract a great deal from RP on the server. I dont think a fleet of liberty vessels (which is what it sounds like what it would take to complete this mission) would be able to just wander into new berlin. They would be met and stopped long before then. Even if the first wave of RM didnt stop them the second wave surely would.
Now I think this kind of mission would be more feasible in a conflict zone (cant remember the names of the new liberty/rheinland ones right now) where it is supposed to be happening in RP. My concern is though it will decrease the number of players available for RP at any given time. Im sure no RM would want to see a bunch of liberty ships enter the conflict zone, rally their forces to confront them, go there and then see them doing some PVE, too busy to RP, already fighting someone else and then the RM who were trying to be good RP'ers have nothing to do and did all that work for nothing.
I still think there might be something of value in this idea, not sure what right now though...
