For 3 years now he had been successfully selling human organs around Liberty, making hundreds of millions in the process. He would remove them from his unsuspecting patients when they were being treated at the Manhatten central hospital, and then sell them on the black market...sometimes to the people he had taken them from.
Eventually one of his colleagues caught on to his illegal operations.
Dr Marvin Sanders was found dead in his office one night by the janitor. His chest cavity had been completely sliced open and his organs were strewn all over the office. Blood covered everything in sight, his heart had been wedged in his throat, his eyes had been gouged out and to top it all off; approximately 12% of his flesh had been torn off leaving what appeared to be teeth marks. Post Mortem showed that injuries had been sustained before death, with the heart ripped out after.
The LSF launched an immediate investigation and found several documents in Dr Sanders' safe at his home, containing incrimintating evidence on the movements of Dr Heart. Within hours of Dr Sanders' body being discovered, 3 bombers and a boarding ship containg a ten man SWAT team had been sent to intercept and board Dr Heart's Luxury home and yacht the "Price of Freedom" which was in the orbit of planet Los Angeles.
However, when you deal with criminals for three years... you get to know a few people.
The team that was sent to pick Dr Heart up intercepted him in the Paloma ice field in the Cortez system. Obviously he had been tipped off by some corrupt cop and he was attempting to escape. The Police destroyed the Price of Freedom's egines and boarded the ship....
They counted on Dr Heart being aboard... and they were right. What they didnt count on were the assortment of Mercenaries and Criminals that attacked the SWAT team as they left their Boarding Ship. 7 of the 10 men were killed in the space of ten minutes...overwhelmed by the numbers against them. The last three were kept alive as hostages. 2 of them were Ransomed off for a safe passage out of Liberty. But the last man however, was never seen again...
