I'm putting RO on the Rommel squadron watch list. They seem to friendly to SF, and i had an incident with a navy tagged of all things battleship.

After previously intercepting your comms (can never be too careful), we have decided to issue a warning to the Helghast, whom we are currently neutral to.
The Red Orchestra Coalition are our allies, being fellow coalition survivors.
I hope you realize that they are under our protection, and we will defend them.
Now, I have no information about this "Rommel Squadron", but you can never be too careful out in the void. Ill apprise them of the situation, and hopefully your boys and ours and theirs can just stay out of each other's way for now.

What occurred was a friendly fire incident due to a improperly tagged RO ship. I was on patrol and came upon and Navy tagged lawful-style battleship, with an unrecognized tag. However after firing a warning shot across the bow, and having a large amount of fire returned i launched 2 torpedoes. This did not even damage the ship in the least, rather allowed me to scan the hold to find identification. I was notified by Headquarters that it was RO and they were in fact unlawful, and coalition members to boot.
I stopped firing, and asked the RO battleship if they were RO, responded yes. I proceeded to apologize for the incident and gave my explanation, but the RO continued firing. I continued to try and dodge and retreat from this situation as to not inflame it further but he pursued, and i then attempted to dock at Gran Canaria to sort this out with the local SCRA representative who are allied to RO.
However, as i docked he fired on my bomber and it was destroyed. Luckily, the zoners were kind enough to tractor in by escape pod (for a disgustingly high price) and return me to friendly territory of Dublin. Now one must realize i did no damage whatsoever to the RO ship, and i stopped firing and apologized yet he still continued. Yet what i find inexcusable is that an unlawful would have a navy tag.
This was no starflier with a navy tag, but a capital ship, showing that the crew must of had knowledge of proper identification on a ship.
After this incident i received a long distance transmit from the CO of the RO, in which he detailed how it was all my fault. I admit i should have looked further, but a lawful capital ship with a navy tag has no business complaining when an unlawful attacks.
As to the question of the Rommel Squadron we are the elite VHF and Bomber pilots of the Helghast modeled after my former unit in the Rheinland Navy. We act as shock troops and go wherever our Lord Verginix points us. As leader of said squadron, i may raise a finger of caution towards fellow unlawfuls that seem to be shooting both ways.
I hope that this seems to clear matters up somewhat.
And by the way, the Red Orchestra Commander said that he isnt unlawful, he just makes his own laws against accordance of the powers that be, a word of wise to pass along to him, that is unlawful, and every unlawful faction has that as a basis of order.
Cordially,
Karol Olsav, Admiral of the Helghast Expeditionary Fleet

PLease watch yourself admiral. Those Zoners were lucky and we don't wannt the RO to get on our Bad and Vice Versa.
