I got it to work in 1920 x 1200 using similar numbers. If you want this resolution use a 65.55 value for foxv. It will line the menus right up.

Testing.

alright i just tested it for 1080 and no 65.55 does not work. Basically the rest of the numbers that i figured out are good so all you will need to do is play around w/ the foxv value around if you want to get it to work with a little different screen resolution. For 1920x1080 its 68.88. For 1920x1200 i assume 65.55 would be perfect as Varyag posted.

One more comment - The file cameras.ini under Freelancer/Data folder seems to have changed now...
It has more values than you specified in your initial post...

New cameras.ini File below
-------------------------------------------------------
[WinCamera]
fovx = 54.431999
[CockpitCamera]
fovx = 70
znear = 2.000000
[ThirdPersonCamera]
fovx = 70
[DeathCamera]
fovx = 70
-------------------------------------------------------
Not sure if this file was changed by the latest update... Any ideas on the Third person Camera stuff ?
Edit: Seems like "[ChaseCamera]" has disappeared too...

Also, can you mention 65.55 as fovx for 1920x1200 in your first post... (better to have all info in post 1).

Alright i just checked this out. I have no idea why the chase cam is not there however its in the same spot as 3rdplayercam so i assume they just switched the name. I updated my writeup. The value that i'm sticking for all is 80. Otherwise it doesnt look right since obviously wide screen is not normal screen.

As far as 65.55 it has been added. Thanks and i will update my 1st post with any new information as well.

The new resolution doesn't show up in the options, as that list is not modified by this.

As for the meters at the bottom of the screen, I'm guessing this happened after you changed the resolution in game. In which case, the resolution changes, but the other values remain the same, so it tries to adapt the widescreen values to the regular screen resolution.

Also, it's probably a good thing you got the IMG tags switched, as such a large image would be too big for the forums. I would suggest you change the IMG tags to URL tags.

It's official, I have too few ships now...
