' Wrote:Not quite true there. Nomads are quite capable of feeling certain emotions. I suggest that you read Sindroms' story with the Nomad 'Sil'. Or just look up any Nomad and see how it acts. Generaly, emotion is connected to the Mindshare as well. One feels anger, all the others in the area feel it. Same for all the other emotions.

I meant more in the context of human individual, selfish passions. I'd liken the sswell of Nomad emotion to be more like the impulse of a herd to stampede or make group sounds. It grows and develops collectively. Humans are lie emotional nitroglycerin compared to that. Nomad emotion can be like a tsunami--a few inches high far out to sea but a hundred feet high when it crashes ashore.

Nomads -> workforce - Check
Keepers -> Overlords - Check
Donkey Wash -> Real Rulers - Absent yet.

So basicly, Oracles are trying to strenghten the workforce, Keepers are trying to do "something" to get the Donkey Wash back here. (dom k vash or whatever was the name).

My vision of Keepers. Roleplay wise, its rather usual but a very good and deep setup. I know I wrote too bluntly there but if you want, I can write a story from my perspective as well:)

Keepers aren't Overlords, they're just like any other nomad, all nomads are the same they just have different..tasks, so to speak. They have no ruling body, all are equal in that, however they are separated by castes, warriors, researchers, so on. Keepers are comprised of all the castes, just like normal nomads, we just have a name because we're a player faction, might as well call myself Nomad.Gebeleizis same as Keepers.Gebeleizis, shouldn't make a difference in RP.

I don't pretend to be an expert in Nomad lore or anything, but I think a better question to ask is:

What were you searching for when you were a child? Friends? a place to play? What?

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."

Not quite, the oracles are split into two groups - one group (the bulk of the oracles) are simply people who want to 'become one' with the nomads. The other group (primarily my own oracle) dont really care about the nomads, but are trying to bring back the Daam K'vosh.

You should primarily learn its "Dom'Kavosh":P

And yes Yue, but that doesn't mean that they want to eradicate the humans.

Edit: Even though Daam K'vosh sounds better:( Personally I think we should just use that K'vosh thing..

methinx squids should a) seek to reunite the whole race and b) come back only when strong enough to go shooting with the Humans straight off, without the necessity of subterfuge and brain-hijacking.

That's simply how they act, its not because they can't fight the humans straight on, at least not a major part of it. It's simply their way of waging war. Subterfuge and espionage followed by complete and utter failure of your enemies skills. If not for Trent, they would've succeeded, probably caused several wars between humans in the process and then just..went in for the kill.
