Loki and Gladius: On behalf of the people of the 12 colonies, welcome back to the Colonial Fleet.

Admiral I will be keeping an activity chart on the private forums correlated by Forum IDs. Some time in the next week I will complete this. This means that anyone not registered on the private forums will not be credited for faction activity. Everyone please make every effort to get all members registered there. I trust the admiraltie's judgement regarding the quality of these two new players and therefor I am waiving our recruiting restriction. I do ask however that they start with a rank of Lieutenant until the rest of us get to know them and we find if they have leadership skills as well as piloting skills.

Faction population is at an all time high with these two new veterens so I will give no exceptions to members who disappear without notice or aren't playing the faction with good team spirit.

Civilian ship: Medic Shuttle is hereby under BSG protection and all members shall respond to her aid upon request. Medic Shuttle is doing the civilians of Sirius a great service with the ferrying of medical supplies to where its most needed.

Any attack upon her will be seen as an attack upon the Fleet and retribution will be swift.

I herewith announce that the DSMC decided to agree to the creation a special Hospital Ship for your
fellow faction.
It was planned to be announced more early, I am sorry, some internals kept us busy.
It's name will be: =BSG=First_Aid_DSMC
(Please call us, when there is a reason to name it in another way - it's the standart name-giving-process)
As you offered, we would like to say "yes" to your financial help.

Also, we would like to thank for the offered help to our other DSMC* Hospital ships.

My apologies as I fear there has been a miscommunication. When the offer was made to Medic Shuttle I was under the impression that you are a Freelancing humanitarian medical ship. As I have now been informed that you have characters that belong to another clan the situation is quite different.

BSG standing policy is that we will not ever recruit a pilot from another current clan or have characters in another clan, including IND. Tho the server may allow pilots to belong to multiple clans, BSG does not. We do not believe in the dilution of loyalties or conflict of interest. This policy is set in stone.

As such, BSG will continue to offer protectiom to Medic Shuttle so long as that ship remains true to its humanitarian mission but will not and cannot recruit anyone who has characters in another clan.

Again my apologies for this unfortunate misunderstanding.

Dear Adm. Warhammer.

This is truly a kind of misunderstanding.
I didn't see myself as a member of =BMG=, but as a DSMC-member doing a service for your
fellow faction. Therefor stood the DSMC in the end of the planned name.
It is an honorably acting from your side to handle it like this: Not recruiting members of other
factions or people with multiple faction-sympathy. It is the best way to keep the strength in clan up.

We are in the middle of a conflict, now ("We" means the pilots and members of the DSMC),
as our intention is to serve for every faction and for every freelancer. At the moment, it looks like
it is possible to serve =BSG= and nobody else, or to serve everybody else but not =BSG=.

Your own expiriences about how to act in the best way for your faction/company may make you
understand, that I can only offer you the "usual" service with the civillian *Medic Shuttle*, then.

The decision to serve your faction only, would be a slap into the face of every other human in space.
And - not to forget, as the DSMC is neutral to everyone (even pirates get humanitary support) we would
put you in a special (maybe better) position.

The [IND] for example agreed on the spot, that the "First Aid" wears their tag for to be visible for members
to be contacted and that the service is payed by faction.
The ending *DSMC* is respected to be our callsign, showing other factions, that our help is available for
them in the same way.

If the rules of =BSG= stand in a special position, I can only offer you two things:

1. The "usual" service of our own (civilian) Medic Shuttle, or

2. To buy a license and a training at Denver.
This would make you able to set up your own licensed mobile Hospital, wearing a "pDSMC"-extension in your name.
This license costs 30 million credits. But it makes you able to buy pharmaceutics at Denver for a very special price - 50$ per unit.
You save 37$. (Licensed ship only!)
Depending on the amount of pharmaceutics you need, it saves a lot of money.

Fazit: We would like to help you in the same way, as we try to help every other soul in Sirius.
But we cannot serve you only. So, we have to make a step back and cancel the order of a =BSG= vessel.
