Every day i get this PMed me or skyped, can we do anything bout the loldessies coming to NY and simply shooting anything that is red. If they aren't braking the rules there is no way we cans top it and believe me when i see a rogue dessie shooting 2 liberators, even tho hostile to npcs id rather want to shoot that dessie.

No, we are not responsible for idie caps in NY, sadly we cannot police them around, yes i know lawfuls are getting ganked and the best thing we can do is to simply not join in on the attacks. Sorry, guys.

Same thing as the [LN] and LNS indies, Corsair factions and independents, and so on.

Factions will control factions. Lolships are outside their domain and not their responsibility. Some do take the extra step and police their own, but that's a choice of the individual faction/player and not obligatory by any means.

The fact that the lawfuls sometimes poke us makes me sad too. I know its not fun to be ganked and i can syphatise, if i try to help, i get flack for "restricting indie rp"

all i can do is to contact him and tellm that shooting small peeps in your lolboat is bad but all i get is "lol im rping, i said engage:D"

I've got it: we'll start a faction called The Lolcaps. We're tagless, so every lolcap is included, and we can police them!

A little cooperation between enemies might be the only good solution, though it seems strange that the rules have forced it to come to that.

Hey, i always contact a LN via pm in //s, that theres a lolboat comming. But rp doesent allow us to turn on them. Exceptions are corsair dreds, who camp manhattan. Then a fleed of LR LN and LPIs wipe them out.

It's unfortunate that we can no longer control what independents do... They are acting with in the rules of the license they carry. Unfortunately a lot of LR, Hacker and Outcast indies chose to act like terrorists rather than pirates, and we have less influence over stopping them than the LN.

I still blame the Order, for that. It should be allowed for responsible factions to regulate the use of capital class vessels, in my opinion, but there will of course be people who object to that. People will either complain that independents are being controlled by factions or that independents are misusing capital ships, there is no middle ground... except to stop complaining and accept things the way they are, but that never solved any problems.

There is a middleground. A good RP would be the middleground, the problem is that some of the people who have indie captial's don't RP at all, giving all the indie cap's a bad name.

There is a simple RP solution, at least I think so.
If you see a lolcap rogue banging everything in red, write an IRP message to LN or LPI.

Say: Guys, there is a betrayer who stole one of our gunboats and will shortly start messing in your space. We are about to hunt this refugee down, would you like to join?

I think it is perfect in role play. Now, the guy is not under your jurisdiction, right? He's messing the good name of faction, right? He's (OoRP) destroying someone's fun because of his random pew-pewing on everything hostile but killed players still must obey rules?

Common enemy sometimes may unite normally hostile factions.

Hunt him down and show him the taste of being destroyed. He then re-engages in fury? Well, you know what to do then.

Maybe that will force some thick-headed to at least RP within faction's theme.

And while it works, it just seems wrong that it has to come to that because there's literally nothing else we can do.

(incidentally, I expect a typical Junker to have no problem whatsoever with this situation.:P)

Bah. I'm sure people are tired of me ranting about this everywhere by now.
