All I can say is use a different browser. Maybe Google Chrome is still somewhat unstable (my cousin was using it a while ago and 5 minutes after installing it, it crashed on him).
If you ask me, use Internet Explorer 8. I think I am the only one here who actually finds IE8 to be quite good. For some reason, I have always had a good experience with Microsoft products.
Firefox works too, but the new versions crash on me a lot, which is why I switched back to IE8.
