Swapped to a Mining Ship last night. Drops tripled, but only due to the lazers. D:

Mining ship makes up the bulk of the drop.

That mining stuff is just awesome.
Funny thing I deleted my miner character after month of playing, and few days later 4.85 came out with large changes. I had to re-create the character but it was definitely worth it!

So if you have a mining ship, a mining ID, and using 1-2 mining lazers you will get tons more drops from the asteroids no matter what field your at?
