Well at the very least recolor the engine, I know that's not hard. The cyan just doesn't look right.

the cyan is to sort of express the evolution of libertonian engines toward this;

notice the cyan engine here as well

in short - this carrier looks 5 times better than the current one. - the model is of a much greater detail, and i am sure a much greater quality overall.

by the looks - i don t really mind them much. both fit well into the liberty fleet. - this one looks more sophisticated - which is a nice thing - but would require a new hitbox and new balancing ( which is a bad thing )

What I saw just now: are the sides of this ship open, so you can fly through it? o.O

basically, yes. With a good hitbox, this will be possible.

Magnetic shielding and artificial gravity wells?

Wow. I want that ship.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

1) I would narrow the central nozzle of the engine, as it is the Liberty Cap engine might look somewhat out of place with such a wide hole.

1.a) Have you tested the current model size against the Liberty Cap engine?

2) I'm not sure that I like the conn tower. The nod to contemporary aesthetics is cool, but I can't help but feel that the standard issue mushroom style would be more appropriate.

3) The blocky section just forward of the main engine tube looks rather bland, I believe it could use a little more detail. I understand that it's a engineering section, but a few vents or other aesthetics would not detract from the model.

4) What's with the thin "shelves" just forward and flanking the engineering section? Aft of the main hangar. If those are vessel launch/recover tubes then I think you would be well served by cutting their number down to 3 and adding a little more bulk to the concept, right now they look flimsy and short.

5) Not entirely sure that I have manlove for the radar dish. I bet that's a concept which is a prime candidate for something which looks far more high tech. Time for a dome and a ton of flashing lights! I know you could come up with a cooler instrument system than a big 'ol 1970's television receiver.

6) It's very difficult to see the hangars with the angels that you have provided, but I bet that the hangars would be enhanced with an aesthetic that suggests that they are capable of being shielded in some manner to prevent the vessel's flanks form being exploited during a battle.

7) What's that big thing in the front atop the ship? That's a prime turret location and that aint no kinda turret that'll do anything if I pull the trigger in game.

Can we see a few more angels? I'm not personally disinclined to the current lighter texture of the ship... Though that opinion could change if the effect does present itself as a visible detraction to the model when in the actual game environment.

To be honest re-balancing the thing would be a small price to pay for this ship, even with the above list of thoughts I find it to be a substantial improvement on the previous model. With a proper fitting hitbox I would dare say that it would be a very cool stationary vessel as well.

8) Give it a nice bar.

For people' curiosity and a fun to know, here were many of the precendent concept and protypes built.

The ancestror of the actual design at its earlier stage

to dusty concerns:

-concerning the tower: because the ship is built so that both up and lower sections are thin, a mushroom bridge would either be ridiculously small, either really look like a mushroom to fit in.

-no I havent tested the size comparison yet, I will do so in a moment.

-I'm not sure what shelves are you talking of, but if those are what I think you are talking about, they are for turret mounts

-I thought about a dome... but... the thinking of a balloon in the back is somewhat funny lol

-I posted a pic of the hangar above, check it out

-I was thinking either it is; a big spotlight for no reason, a static missile port, or a radar system...

I'll take some more pics of it

beside the engine being too smooth (doesn't look like the vanilla dread engine) and the lack of blue, I like.

but please, reword that engine, make it more sharpened

second pic is nice hehe (post above)

oh, and remember, I want the black fighter! muhaha
