I'm sorry. This is silly and abhorrent.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to be friendly with all human factions in the Omicrons. The Zoners manage to be neutral to all- barely.

Liberty are currently at war with the Order. Liberty are the reason the deep Omicrons are crawling with bounty hunters.
Nothing "Liberty" will ever be friends with the Order or the Corsairs. It's simply not feasible.

If you want to head up an anti-Nomad task force, make the aforementioned task force Zoner or possibly Order.
Liberty vessels cannot get through to deep Omicron space due to the Order...and they certainly won't be tolerated wandering through Gamma. The interests of Liberty in the Omicrons are represented by the BHG Core...who are by no means friendly with the Order or Corsairs.

Anyway. Just about all of the previous posts say the same thing. Get your stuff in order before going 'zomg nomadz' or 'zomg <insert any faction>' for that matter. Maybe join the Order or the LN? Get abit more experience with the server before going off doing god knows what.

Well for starters your supposed story for the creation makes no sence cause there's no way Nomads could ever muster a force in Alaska of all places. Secondly, it's not possible for you to remain neutral in all cases like that. If I see you in minor that makes you an enemy and you'd be shot at, forget your diplomacy. We have ours and for us if you don't shoot back while we shoot you then that sounds perfectly fine to me. Also, say Liberty is having a fight with the Order in Alaska... you're not going to help Liberty? I think that can be counted as treason.

Your intention is good and all, but the back story and diplomacy especially make little sence. The Order does the Nomad killing and I think the Liberty government is aware of that and lets us do our work.

In other words, I agree with Carlos.

Uhh. Have you actually BEEN to Alaska recently? Nomad NPCs are everywhere. And if you're talking about PCs, yesterday New York itself had no fewer than FOUR nomad PCs in it.

I spoke to the creator of this thread, and he is reworking his idea based on a suggestion I made.

Alaska is in the ZOI of our faction, so, yes we are in alaska daily.

The problem is that Nomads use all space for movement to their initial targetted areas. You can see Nomads in Tau's or in Leeds as well. This doesn't make those places as Nomad ZOI. Well, Leeds may be since the Chester base is close but then Tau?. Nomads use Alaska for passage to NY. I never saw, except for a crowded chase RP, any Nomad ships to hang in Alaska and operate there. They either try to pass to NY or to Iota over Minor.

I also agree on having an ANTI Nomad faction, if we need one, should either be related to Order (well, Order IS that faction to be truthful), or a Liberty sub branch with partial interest, not a full faction focusing on that.

To me, even having a sub branch like this in BAF sounds more reasonable since they are more "alienated" towards the actions of Nomads within Chester and Bretonia and would do nice to have a research wing to better understand the Nomad installations there.

I am not against new player factions, I support the idea of trying to create something new and add more to the community but this is not it, not yet at least from a RP perspective, too many flaws and gaps to fill yet.

Let me say again. Nomad *NPC's* are in Alaska. How does that not make that system part of their ZOI?
Even if for some reason Alaska isn't part of the Nomad ZOI, you can still find Nomad ships there, including the Assassins that the story mentions.

Nomad ZoI = all of Sirius. Hey, its their home. Humans are just borrowing it. Why would they stick to a certain area? Sure, might not see NPC's everywhere but it's 'still theirs'.

I always thought the order IS an anti-nomad faction. Its just that other factions became jealous of our awesomeness and decided to wage a war against us.
