The edit button exists for a reason.

That can be said of many-pass times. Adults who can't control their addiction, that is their own fault, not the game's.

hur hur hur ya think.

i had quoted someone and usually when i quote someone it does not come up when i click to edit something.

anyway, i am one of those adults who "wastes years of their life" playing wow.

but hey, i guess it would be okay if i wasted years of my life playing this game instead of WoW ?

you all are just being cynical because there is something out there that is hugely fun to play and you do not understand how to play it.

You'll find that people in this thread are actualy defending WoW. I'd suggest a little less hostility:dry:

I knew how to play it, but what really threw me off and made me start retching was when I found out they were killing off Illidan in BC. How they justified that, I'll never know, but it made me go back to WC3 and then I realised how much more I enjoyed that game than WoW, even if its community is just as much of a failure. But my opinions have been made known, don't expect another reply to your attempts at flames.

For the Core.

The main reason I dislike WoW, is the fact that they brutally destroy the entire storyline of the established Warcraft universe, and then decide to have anal sex with the main characters without lube. Due to WoW, there will almost never be a chance for a Warcraft 4 continuing on after WC3, instead, we'll get WoW 2 & 3.

And before you yell at me to play the game first---

Level 70 troll mage on Hyjal.
Level 65 tauren warrior, also on Hyjal.

But then again, I cancelled my subscription before Wrath of the Fail King came out.

Former friend of mine paid the game for me for one month. Was pretty fun, actually, but meh, got into a fight with that guy. Now he left all other games he formerly played (Namely AirRivals and quite a long time ago, even Freelancer), cut his contacts down to a minimum and plays WoW 24/7 with some other, pardon my language, retards.

Guess that's how far you can get with WoW. I mean, good lord, he's got a level 80 paladin! A PALADIN!

I have a 74 Warrior, Arzeal, on the US Thrall realm, and a 64 Death Knight, Uthad.

I spend more time in cities, raging, flaming, and spamming trade chat. I have like 90 days of play time since the first two months of WoW, most of it is AFK, or spamming trade. I have my fun.

I spend alot of time PvPing too, or seeing how many mobs in an instance I can pull and rape with my protection spec /flex

WoW is fun, but it's more repetative than Freelancer..

Kill this guy!
Kill this many things!
Get this item!
Get these many items!

..That's about it lol. I like the people and the PvP really, and I've grown to hate their RP servers.

ok guys let's put this into perspective ok? All computer games are addictive, because if they weren't ya wouldn't be playing em would ya. Now don't yell at me cause I'm about to say this but instead of bickering about which computer game is more addictive why don't you do the following:

Get up
Walk outside
Take a deep breath
And then go do something else other than sit in-front of a screen.

Just think, as you guys are comparing the games you are sort of playing them in your head even though you aren't physically doing it. So stop the bickering and go do something else.

Firstly I used to play wow, thats about the most I can say about that really.

And secondly, there is no point in arguing over the merits of a game. Everybody has different tastes and likes. I love Eve online, others hate it. I thought summoner was a great rpg, others claim it was a bug ridden piece of cr*p. I like philipino dwarf women, others like fat mexican lasses! its all moot.

You can spend all day bickering as everyone will defend their own belief.

I played wow for 3 years. I've been wow free since March 18, 2008. Good times and wouldn't take it back for anything.:)Only problem is there has yet to be a good game worth playing since :/

1999 I got a computer. Played Delta Force 2 for a few years. Then Battlefield 1942 for a few years. Then WoW for a few years. There has yet to be a good MP game to come out since. Still waiting...
