I recently purchased this guy because we had to get a new router with only one internet jack, which leads to our wireless broadcaster. This setup will not change. Lucky for me, the broadcaster is right next to my computer.

SO, do you guys think I will have latency issues with Disco? I also play EVE, and I hope it's not affected too badly.

Edit: Our ISP is Comcast Cable. "Supposedly" High-Speed, but for $100 a month, I'm rather underwhelmed.

Well , I have used a wireless router/adapter for quite some time on my 360 and laptops and I never got any more lag or loss of speed than I had on regular cable internet. So , I think you should be fine.

Unless your internet is crap , then you might have a problem

EDIT: Oh , and also if your Router is crap.

Thanks. The thing should get here on Monday, and so I'll just have to see for myself.

Right now I'm on my laptop, with a built in wireless card.:D

Guh.. So much for guaranteed three-day delivery. It arrived on my doorstep this morning, but I can't install it until I get home later. I guess I'll just have to wait another 3 and a half hours.
