And apparently I cannot do that. Leave the credit demand in, leave out cargo demanding, if you think that ore pew pews are bad.

Actually there's not anything they CAN do

No piracy, no escorting, no bounties, ... they can shoot stuff that's hostile to them and arr-pee with the rest that's about it
