Ive have had it with the bloody thing. Most of the time I do not even use it, it's much easier to hit someone with a SN or guns with 750m/s speed outright ignoring the thing. Noone follows a straight line anyway and the thing is only useful for hitting small targets from far away.
Is there any way I could remove the predictive aiming [color=#FF0000]+ from my hood...
I find it works fine. Granted you don't actually aim at the cross of course... I aim slightly in front of it. >_>
But then, different things work for different people.
Even if it doesn't let you accurately aim, at least it tells you in what direction your opponent is moving. It also lets you easily shoot down mines and missiles.
You can either edit the .3db, as Turkish said, or hexedit Content.dll, you'll need to check Starport for the specifics, but 13centkiller did it for our promotional video.
Can I have my eyes removed as well? Ive had it with the bloody things. Most of the time I do not even use them, it's much easier to hit someone with my instinct alone outright ignoring the other senses I have. Noone can outdo my Jedi Mind-tricks anyway and these eyeball things are only useful for reading lousy ooc chat in NY.
Actually, if it would be possible to change the color on the thing, that would assist those of us who have red/green color issues. I find it incredibly easy many times to just lose the thing in the background and other colors.
And no, I don't aim where the cross actually is, but where it's going to, but still...

I find red boxes around ships get in my face more. If I'm jousting a ship, and there's 4 of its friends behind it, with all the redboxes, I can't see anything. Like a lion and zebras.
