Stiletto is just a vaguely-defined type of dagger. Switchblade is just a modern equivalent, and non-vanilla anyway. Scimitars, it's non-vanilla again and I don't really know eastern history, but it's a one-handed sword with the same connotations.
Pistols are also used in duels. Shall I call it the hand-gun, then? Same logic. Daggers and the likes may have been used in duels, but that doesn't mean they are duelling weapons. Hell, the Simpsons even used motorbikes as duelling weapons.
Sorry, your logic doesn't make any sense. Border World ships are not named after duelling weapons.

What does that even mean?

My point is, they're named after one-handed, finesse blades. Things you'd use in a duel. Not some big cutlass.

Rapier is already a Corsair pulse gun. Unfortonatly, the Lane Hackers stole the last of the decent names it seems...

I used a crap translation site for this but, "Espada" is sword in Spanish? "Accetta" is axe in Italian... it's sort of limited.

This is my signature.

Cutlasses are roughly the same size as a Sabre. Cutlasses are described as short thick blades. You can use any bladed weapon in a duel, so your argument holds no ground there. Not only that, but bombers are larger and more powerful than fighters, so the name of a heavier blade fits to me, even if the frame of this bomber is not exactly heavy. The ship is certainly heavier than a VHF, too.

I'd prefer to avoid relations to Spain in the name. Falcata is a Hispanic sword. This Border World bomber holds no origins in either of the Hispanic houses.

The thingy you added needs to be more integrated with the ship, I think.

This is a rough guide, try to look past the amateur MSPaint job.

In general, I REALLY like it. This is apparently what Falcata should have looked like, it should be a replacement.

To the model itself, I'd personally like the circular part a bit thicker, stronger. It would give the ship a sturdier look (and a bit more area to hit). I know you're doing an extension of the BW line, but that could include strengthening of the design. Jamez' suggestion above also goes nicely in that direction.

Love the model but... this is a bomber right? Torp tubes plz? They wouldn't even have to be obvious... just some sort of representation.

Also I think Cutlass is perfect, as the Cutlass is essentially a short, broad sabre. Associations with classical pirate stereotypes seems a silly argument to ignore such a fitting name.

Too late.

I vote the "Scythe." It reaps caps.

EDIT: Cutlass is good too, though. >_>'

I want to call it Falcata. I hope that's self-explanatory.
