Cant create char

Hello.... im new to the server and i have a problem creating
a character in game. It says that there is already a character
using the name i want to use and i use like all names but it says
the same thing even if i use "awdadd16515" and i cant create a char.
What should i do? Thanks.

This problem happened to a lot of people.
Basically, what you need to do is:

Install a program called Freelancer Account Manager.

Run that program and say yes to what it asks you.(It'll backup your multiplayer account IDs and allow you to activate them at will.)

Uninstall Freelancer.

Uninstall the Freelancer Mod Manager.

Delete the remains of the Freelancer folder.

Install Freelancer.

Install Freelancer Mod Manager.

Extract and install the newest Discovery mod.

Run Freelancer Account Manager to re-activate your account.

Play.
