Quick query

Been on the server this morning and have found a distinct lack of loot from destroyed ships

Killed 12 BH Hammerheads and only got 5 credit cards, not such a big deal, however not 1 pilot! Plent of bats and bots though. Secondly went for Hessians in O47 all in Odin ships and killed 8 and only got 3 hessian pilots.

Has the ship loot been tweaked as previously I would always get a pilot?

Not sure if its a bug, but it is surely different. I have the same experience with Hammerheads. Still getting plenty of civilian pilots though; so maybe its only certain ships

I farmed some Titans early... got all Credcards and Guards pilots.
Looks much ok for me.

I've run into this situation in Delta not too long ago. Got hit by 4 Titans - 3 normals and 1 guard. When the combat was done, I'd beamed in the Guard pilot - but NOT the regular Corsair pilots.

i think that some of the hammerhead and titans are bugged slightly in this way. not dropping pilots.

those ships are known to be spamming rather powerful mines. if they detonate, the commodities go poof.

before the update in omicron alpha i would get 8- 15 bh pilots in one mission, now i am lucky if i get 2 of them... something is wrong here

I have noticed a decline in the loot dropped by ships, seems to have changed after the last mod update.

Loot is always dropped. Sometimes you accidently destroy it. I see the white loot appear just as my lasers frazzle it into oblivion. It's just luck.

Umm no it isnt just luck, I have been having the same problem in Alpha killing BH's on missions. I only get pilots from the Cruisers. I hardly ever get them from the fighters anymore. I have also go so far as to carefully whittle an NPC down and killed him with great care thinking that I was perhaps shooting the loot. Turns out I got a gun, no pilot, no credit card.
