Changes to the Slaver's Union.

There are a couple of members I'm chatting with right now who disapprove strongly of the power grab.

Of course, since you did not consult anyone else on this decision, they generally feel that it's out of their control anyways, which isn't far from the truth.

If this change of leadership and roster reorganisation goes through, I will be considering joining this faction. Recently, I think standards slipped in favour of getting the ingame time neccessary to stay alive as a faction. Maybe true, maybe not. Regardless, I think there is a lot of potential with the Slavers Union, potential which has been neglected recently.

Let me assure you, Unseelie and Sovereign, you do not have the support of all of the faction on this. Not even the ones that you think support you. It was wrong to grab control of the faction, the forum account, and the bank without having consulted anyone but yourselves.

If that's the kind of leadership you want, then go right ahead and follow them.

This decision is wrong, it's selfish, it's absurd, and it throws the hard work of a lot of members right back into their faces.

I will continue to fly with the tag until this situation is either ironed out or properly RP'd.

I'm going to take a break from commenting on this ill-conceived power grab for now.

Let me assure you, Unseelie and Sovereign, you do not have the support of all of the faction on this. Not even the ones that you think support you. It was wrong to grab control of the faction, the forum account, and the bank without having consulted anyone but yourselves.

While I agree what seems to be happening is distasteful I ask that you have these members that don't support Unseelie post. You posting and claiming they don't support Unseelie proves nothing. They need to. Until more than you and Pilgrim post this simply looks like a split in leadership and nothing more. Other than one side taking the bank. SU members need to post. Period.

I'm sorry I had to ask, you keep repeating over and over again that there are other people upset about this. Name them, ask them to post here, something.

Granted as an outside observer I have nothing to do with this, but I'm curious. As things are right now it looks like you are the only one upset. Are any of the other people Quorg keeps mentioning available to speak up? Please do. As the expression goes, put up or shut up. If there is a general consensus within the faction not to allow this change in leadership, lets hear from the faction.

Up to this point I've never really been all that impressed with the SU. And I'm sorry Quorg, but your characters are downright strange and difficult to RP with. The worst one being that Midnight Express ship you seem to spend most of your time on. Every encounter I've ever had with it left me frustrated and annoyed. So much so that I intentionally ignore it or avoid it now. My point being in all this is that the SU seems to have no where to go but up. I look forward to RP'ing with the new SU in whatever form it takes.

Well it's now obvious that Unseelie wanted to act as a unilateral leader.

That did not reflect the arrangement that was in place, however.

And so far me, Pilgrim, and Araevin Teshurr have all expressed extreme disagreement with this decision.

The names on the roster are:
Jammi, Quorg, Pilgrim, Unseelie, Araevin Teshurr, Rheinland is my Home, Mang109, Orange Butterfly, Drakaisyl, 11of10, Xylan, Sovereign.

So far it is not clear what position Rheinland is My Home, Mang109, Orange Butterfly, Drakaisyl, 11of10, and Xylon take on the issue, seeing as they have not yet responded (not surprising considering that it's the middle of the work/school week).

Jammi, Unseelie, and Sovereign are the only members on the roster that have expressed support for the power grab to my knowledge, and two of them are the architects.


And in my opinion they screwed Pilgrim over more than anyone in this situation.

Yes those "People" Quorg was referring to who disprove this Power grab, i am one. While i admit my activity has been some, but i have made many donations to this faction,and bought my own darned liner. I thought this faction would amount to something, so you go and boot most of the members that actually try?! I care, and if you keep this up, you might as well add my name to the list of Freelance slaver's you have the MM hunting.No warning at all, just takeover.

Oh and Unseelie,about you being ashamed of the SU, i would like to point out that most of the whining in the SU skype chat was on YOU'RE end of it. I am amazed at how you acted, cussing and arguin' with the other members. So i must point out that how can the SU be led with such an unstable leader?
I know i do not post often, but this is chaotic/idiotic and people like Quorg need support. It was a joint leadership until Unseelie decided it was time for some dissention.
Oh and the only reason i was probably kept is the fact that i had donated 75mill, have codenames readily available and bought my own ship.
So like Quorg said if Unseelie gets power, please remove the {SU} tag from {SU}Opressor.

If a majority of the SU wants to perform a coup do so by presenting your case to the relevant parties and making it all legal, yeah?

I find that the two are being treated differently to be less than charming.

The only thing anyone has accomplished by doing your wash in town square is reveal how many streaks you have in your underpants and the drama is tiresome.

Furthermore it's going to be rather difficult for anyone to take any claims of legitimacy altogether seriously after this sloppy performance and sets an ugly precedence for how this sort of "thing" should be conducted.

Knock it off, take your business behind closed doors and come back with an announcement when you've got the paperwork sorted to back it up.
