The Tundra is a famous ship in Delta. I have been hunted by fleets (plural at the same time), and am not complaining, especially not on the rare occassion when they've managed to catch me. As you (hopefully) know, the Tundra used to be a fairly "safe" ship, one I parked a good bit above the plane. There I would spout what can best be described as propoganda, usually using a human mouthpiece, even going so far as to debate some humans. I well remember the time Jinx told everyone in Delta to calm down because the Tundra wasn't known for aggressiveness.

Now, the apology: the Tundra is getting very aggressive due to recent RP conditions, and so I apologize if you find yourself in a spot where you get a couple lines of RP before being blown out of the water. As much as I love drawn-out RP conversations, they do not fit the current situation.

So in advance, sorry for possibly blowing you up, or at least trying to. Also sorry to [TAZ]Freebird.Beta for me killing you while typing. Didn't know, and you were following me in cruise in a straight line.

(Also, for those of you who care, this situation spawned the "Engaging!" thread in the rules section)

First, if I may, from your "Special RP" proposal. (Bolded added is mine.)

Quote:Interactions with other players
Keepers/Wilde - will be regarded as friendly, allowable to group with
Aspiring/"independent" Nomads - will be regarded as friendly, allowable to group with
Outcasts - most likely neutral, though as of yet none have been encountered.
Zoners - humans that live on the edge, they regularly come into direct contact with Nomads. Though peaceful attempts to subvert them may be made, overt hostilities are not advised. Freeport 11 is to be avoided at all costs, as it is too heavily defended.
Most everyone else - while attempts to peaceably infect will be made (IE - telling them to submit, and feel no pain, etc.), if they do not, they will be engaged unless circumstances dictate otherwise. Traders are, at the moment, ignored due to ID limitations, but will not be so lucky if the Nomad ID is gotten. No attacks will be made without proper RP and notification.
Farming Nomad/Wilde NPCs will be viewed as overtly hostile, and will be dealt with with extreme prejudice.

Yes, it would appear that you've changed your mind, or your RP, or both. Why, I'm not certain..

You've attacked Freeport 11, in contradiction to the above. Bored?

Were any Zoners, perhaps Jinx, contacted about this change of stance? If not, it smacks just a wee bit of "powergaming".

Your "apology in advance" also leaves a bad taste, as it seems to imply that you'll just go right ahead and continue to do so, thinking that saying "I'm sorry" makes it just fine.

I was in the "Beta". No apology needed. Next time I won't be typing.

Here I believe I can add something as to the response you'll be getting in Delta. Those ships from the CoZ and TAZ will not be actively engaging you to satisfy whatever you have in mind. (Even though you've been placed on the CoZ "Hostiles" list. The security and defense of the Freeport will remain our only priority.

Sorry if that puts a damper on any of your plans. Plans which might be clarified a bit more than simply "the Tundra is getting very aggressive due to recent RP conditions...."

One last note, and I'll wait for you to respond. Can the ZSRT/TAZ/CoZ/Sombunall Zoners expect continued daily attacks? ..twice daily..? whenever you bloody well "feel like it"...?

All the above might be pertinent to how much "love" you receive in return, Zapp.

Mal

I just received word of a "buildup" in Iota.. We will be "standing down", Condition "/Ignore", until I receive a reply here.

We can powergame too.

Yes, I believe Jinx is aware of the reason behind this change of RP. As a matter of fact, it's great that you consider the Freeport a priority. That actually satisfies what I have in mind, as you put it. Don't see this as some "LOLrampage" from me, I've thought it through quite carefully. RP evolves, quite a few things are changing, stance towards Zoners being one of them.

As for daily "attacks", I'm still more than reluctant to come out of my nice spot ~50k above the plane. What with Delta going from 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds each time I log on.

Doug, I'll explain the reason behind this build up and increasing attacks on Skype whenever you want. There's an actual reason for all this, from both sides.

Ya know what.

Screw this.

I'm insulted and angry that I learn all this "after the fact".

You may have just lost me.

Calm down? take a deep breath... before you do anything rash like freak out.

Oh, I am completely freaked out sir.

I am morally outraged that major changes were discussed and implemented without the slightest bit of consultation or notice.

And that outrage is directed right "to the top" as well.

My Skype is open. But if three years of roleplay and dedication to this community mean nothing, then why should it continue to mean anything to me?
