But I'm not sure that answers the big "wtf" that has been raised in this thread.
This shouldnt happen without an announcement or notifying involved parties. You want to do this, it should be an organized event. This is the most outrageous act of hypocritical elitism I have seen since coming here. Think about things before just going and doing them.
I wanted to contribute here, I wanted to help, I wanted to make this a better place, but if decisions like these are just going to be made by 3 or four people sitting in a chat not consulting anyone else, not even everyone who has a large stake in it..... The whole attacks thing -is- the RP factor. It was brought to life to give Omicron Delta a more Frontline feeling and eventualy work that into the actual mod. Why should we have to write a three story 'aar pee story' only to justifiy actions ingame that come natural?

So.. if we go into Iota.. dark of night when no nomad players are on.. take some lurid screenies.. then we can claiim it's a huge successful attack, without consultation.. and that it's "Special".

BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO, can you say elitism?
How about you go in the actual game occasionaly? That attack on the Freeport which you talk about was with actual players, they just messed up and ran into every corner of the system only to be picked off one by one, leaving the freeport undefended.
Even right now, an attack is ongoing. It was a massive battle which is now reduced to a handfull of figthers.
