I find that there is a similar glitch with mission weapons platforms, but this isn't a big deal since all you have to do is fly like they are armed.

Well, that is not a solution, but it is an option.

Find a way to fix it, and it will get fixed. Devs are on holiday :P.

Remove the weapons on the bases except the missiles of weapon platforms because they're working and raise their hit points. That is, until a solution to make the weapons visible has been found.

I remember it quite well from vanilla. I do believe so.

Well, a lot of people didn't notice the bug in Disco either...
It is a vanilla bug.
