The corvo, but are you gonna be going through asteroid fields? If so, the zoner GS would work. I personally don't like the spatial, the huge nonsensical plate on the side annoys me.

All if flown right
Eagle if you want to get out of things quick.
Zoner Research Cruiser if you want to take a more of a beating if necessary.
Zoner GB - Same as above but not as much. More agile. Better in the asteroid heavy places. Omegas and Taus.

just keep in mind if you pick the Freelancer ID you probably cannot use the cruiser

Zoner GB is probably the best bet

but if you want something that can really REALLY survive.....repair ship, 4000 b/b

The Corvo shall keep him alive the best, in my oppinion. I once passed with it through the Nomad systems in early morning hours, when there was not much players online, so the NPCs were plentifull. I had a Cap4 armor on it, and, if I recall correctly, an anti fighter load out, mostly. perhaps a battlerazor or two.

On the other hand, regarding combat capability, the Zoner Destroyer, the Fearless, would be a much more potent vessel.

With Freelancer ID, you could use the Kusari explorer. My SP test has shown that it can fire three gunboat missiles at the same time. If that has not been changed since the betas, it should still be a powerfull ship.

i forgot about the explorer, it's actually a fantastic vessel

Bretonians may have a problem with it, but really it's one of the more neutral capital ships that is not a Zoner built one

oh lighten up, that thing has some style (explorer)
and it looks good with Zoner turrets (other ships have them stick out like sore thumbs)

I don't really have a word to describe it. The style... is certainly original..

You want both style and a survivable ship?

Go with the Yacht.
