Alright a question.

The IMG have a planet, a home planet in Coronado.
the ID says that they can demand contraband in Omegas and taus.
Now Smugglers that get stopped in Coronado claiming we are OORP by doing so. now i would like to say that its actually in RP to make sure that a system you building or forming a colony on will be safe and contraband free.

Now what do you say? is it against the rules to make a smuggler drop contraband in a system that they have a planet. and is it OORP to do so?

If your ID says Tau and Omega only, then you can only do it in Tau and Omega only. Simple as that. Corodano is an independant world, not belonging to the Tau or the Omegas.

If your ID says Tau and Omega only, then you can only do it in Tau and Omega only. Simple as that. Corodano is an independant world, not belonging to the Tau or the Omegas.

But none the less its an IMG base, and the base is a planet. So should that not count as in our ZOI as well ?

It also said where IMG has a base. so we got it solved

actually it didnt. it says to hunt the pirates in where they have a base, the contraband dont include this fine print. So question still there.

There's an IMG base in Cambridge, too. But that doesn't mean you can go demanding that people drop contraband there.

To be honest, I think the part about stopping contraband runners was aimed more towards the CR before they had their own ID. But hey, I could be wrong.

never thee less, in Coronado IMG have more say than aHouse system like Cambridge. Go around Coronado if you dont want to be stopped. May be the admins can utilize the update utility again to resolve small text errors used to rule lawyer (aka nitpick). If they add smugglars to the list, IMG can rp their way wihtout the fear of sanction. ( I am hoping a threat of sanction was not carried out by the smugglar in coronado)

Yeah that's how I'm seeing it too. IMG aren't sovereign in any way, and corporations don't get this on their IDs, and IMG is basically just a poor corporation. I mean yeah leaving Coronado out is somewhat inconsistent, but I'd rather see the clause dropped from the other two.
