The new organization looks pretty good to me.

:yahoo:So who's paying for mine and Gov. Seldon's Liner, gentleman. It seems he and I are going to ride in style. I liked that touch Nussebull.

A rare occurrence indeed for me to leave the sanctity of my own reminiscences. I was unusally scrutinising
the GNN news network reports today and noticed an account of the First Bank of Flax's extraordinary
demise.
I was very adjacent to this unfortunate incident, and indeed was blessed in retrieving a package marked
with your designation. We were in brief contact a short period later, when I informed you of this.
Circumstances at this juncture would not permit me to continue our conversation and I am currently still
holding this for your retrieval at a time convenient to both of our busy schedules.
Look forward to conversing with you again in the immediate future.

Re: Package

Greetings my friend

Such a loss can never be recovered, however, as a phoenix, the void is reborn, but slightly tarnished due our loss. I have always held dear this axiom of antiquity, "Fortune favors the bold, and the prepared,"and Fortune has shined upon us and gives the ability to lock away our contingence plans. In addition, I look forward to our next encounter so we may revel and banter in sight of the void.

My felicitations
Admiral RedBear

P.S. I told ya they promote just about anyone in this outfit

Re: TOE

Gentlemen

Here is our vision at the present. Vessels are listed in their home-system, however, they are not restricted to them. This chart provides a point of reference for all concern. For example, at this time the LNS-RedBear, LNS-Thunderbolt, and SA-Joe.Davis have been tapped for the Tau-31 taskforce, so far.

If any changes needed PM or reply.

My compliments

P.s. To the possible question, why so many fighters in California? Its due to the LNS-Phoenix. Gentlemen, we have our own carrier taskforce for the Fighter Jockeys. I, however, am a ship-of-the-line sailor:)

Heh, thought the governors could have Liners,
would be cool. :D

Think we should have some fighters patrolling between TX and CA
to have some balance.

You know it starts off as "just a small jaunt around the system in my Luxury Liner." Next thing you know its partys and wine and civil defense be damned. And you'll know when you hit rock bottom when a skyflier shoots you down. Hahahaha. But now that I think about it, that's about right that the top brass of the best Unit in Sirius gets the gold treatment. Now we just gotta figure out what we're going to name em. As for fleet disposition, what we've got so far seems decent. Oso, do your lists include everything we have? The jump holes in Virginia are easy to access so it's not too much of a stretch to send reinforcements from home. Looks good guys. Keep it up.

P.S. I guess this means I have to update my ranks again. Nusse, Chief Petty Officer? What I do to you? Hahaha:cool:

Comm ID: DoD

Great work Nussebull on the Faction status, and Oso, the chart is gorgeous.

For now, we are going to keep the Texas sqdn. AS IS. Fighters are more maneuverable than Capital ships, and I do not want any foreign incursion successful because our ships could not get there and engage the enemy in time.

Commodore Thor also approached me about allowing Order VHFs into our stock. For NOW, I am not going to allow this. While the Nepthys may appear to be superior to the Avenger, because they are all made non-linearly, replacement of parts could be extremely expensive and costly. (This may violate our RP. After conferring with server officials, however, this may change).

Since the Server will be up again soon, I suggest that all ships be scrambled at least once to make sure that all is in order.

DoD signing off.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The SA High Command has noticed that many of our fighter wings have been slightly "dissatisfied" with their current ships and upgrades. Thus, we have approached the Sirius Federation, HQed in Cambridge with the proposal of an arms trade agreement. If this is to go through unhindered, we will be able to mount Bretonian guns as soon as the first trainload of them arrive.

Here is a copy of the message:

Quote:---Incoming Transmission---
From: SA High Command
To: SF High Command

Sirs,

We, the South Alliance would like to propose an arms-trade agreement with the Sirius Federation to continue our friendship and mutual goodwill.

With this agreement the SA and SF will open a new market for both factions to purchase arms from one another.

I hope that this will be taken into consideration.

Message end.

Re: Primary focus

Gentlemen

I concur with all of the above, however, with the present policy of "weapons-cold" I propose we focus our time and resources upon increasing our Warchest for the assured conflicts to come. OOC: So, as Admiral of the Combined Fleet I issue said order (As time and desire allows), of course with agreement from DOD. Said order will be suspended upon lifting of "weapons cold."ICC

My compliments
Admiral RedBear

P.S. FYI, at this point i have on hand 500 million credits. 400 million is for our purchase of Virginia, sadly, still in political limbo. Our discretionary funds sits at 100 million (Thank you Thor). For the present, I shall be trading and researching our needs in reference to fighter purchases (For new recruits) since I believe we are good, for moment, in Capital Ships. This is for my own state of mind, but my focus will be on trading.
