Sorry but this full guard rep fix is out of roleplay and impossible:

Navy/Military Guard and Order Guard reputations cannot be fixed by bribes and if you do missions, shoot at anything or entering any guard space you abandon your neutrality making the whole issue obsolete.

In my understanding of roleplay a true Neutrality implies that being hostile to all the Guard reputations is mandatory.

On the other side you will not get any approval with this guard rep issue by the admins team.
The guard ID system was implemented to prevent exactly this issue - which is currently enhanced by the new FLHook addon by cannon.

One important reason to repfix for Guard systems:

--We had Order pay the Zoners a visit once at O-74. It was part of an RP event and everything was organized. The moment the Order players entered Zoner Guard system, all hell broke loose.

Another example:

--A number of Zoners have contacted the Order to purchase Hathors. They got approved (TAZ for example). Now how do you enter O-100 to purchase a Hathor if your reputation with the Order Guard is not fixed.

The same thing can happen with Corsairs, IMG, etc. Special RP events happen where entering the Guard system is mandatory. Being neutral with all guards doesn't mean we want to be able to sneak into their territory. According to RP rules, you can only enter a Guard system with the permission of the respective faction's supervisors. That's exactly what the Consortium believes in and we discourage entering Guard systems without following through with this rule. But being white with all Guards prevents trouble from happening in the future.

Another thing is that you don't have to enter a Guard system to know your reputation status. Typically any sort of bribe with the non-Guard faction or 3 missions are enought to make your Guard rep neutral. Is performing missions for Oder and Military factions against Zoner RP? Yes, which is why I only take up the Zoner ID once my rep fixing is complete. The way I see it, most folks have to rep-fix one way or the other, and a lot of time it involves killing and bribing factions that you really shouldn't be.

EDIT: Let me ask you this question: Can you become a Zoner Guard without killing Zoners, GMG, Order, or destroying Zoner depots? And if the answer is "no," isn't that against Zoner RolePlay?

Let me add one little thing:

What we're arguing about here is not the RP itself once the characters have been fixed, but about the fix itself. If there'd be another way without annoying other guards we'd be glad to use it.

To be pedantic, you can. You simply /droprep, and kill 400 Xenos.

I have had, quite a few interactions with you guys.

While I don't enjoy you guys assembling fleets to come after two guys, I am equally sure that you don't enjoy your traders getting om nomed by Abschnitt.

What I don't like seeing is your fleets coming into our secret home system and just camping the base there. Not all of them were ZTC guys, but enough were. We don't go into 74 to wait for you guys, we'd appreciate the same courtesy.

That being said, your traders do a very good job of interacting with other traders and pirates and escorts, which is a good thing.

Overall my experiances have been positive, with a few marring "low points".

Keep playing your rolls well, spend the money you make on something other then a fleet of battleships, and we'll get along just fine.

Much easier because you can get a quadruple Zoner bribe somewhere.

Fixing the rep with your allies is one thing and i got no problem with this.
But fixing ALL sirius guard reps is crap and will become impossible (or it is already).
Anyway you will never ever get the permission to enter navy/military guard systems.

The rest of the proposal is good and my experience with the (]c[) guys was very enjoyable.


@Wilds: You mixing up ZRT (Zoner Response Team) with (]c[) but this do not belong here.

I partly agree with you. I know we would not send out such a fleet after just two guys without a good reason nor we're flying arround with big fleets to search our next victim.

Regarding this incident with one of our traders and that Wilde gunboat Abschnitt ... well ... it's all about "actio et reactio".

Our trader got attacked by this Wilde while jumping trough the jumphole to O47. This Wilde was waiting there at the other side ... and opened fire immediately. Meanwhile it stumbled a few words to justify his attack... and slaughtered our trader, who just had some seconds to realize what is happening. We're glad he reached his rescue pod in time.

Since aliens are deadly enenmies for the zoners we would do anything to repeal them. The measures are depending on the situation though. Generally we are trying to support the order's primary fleet because they are trained to deal with the alien threat, but there may occur cases where we have to deal with such incidents on our own, which is absolutely no problem for us, since we're expecting the alien players to attack us (it's an important part of the rp), but we would also like to try to keep up ... it could be more fun if we'd arrange common events to prevent outbalancing.

Then make them neutral AFTER you get permission, it's in my view, stupid and impossible to do so before. It's a lot easier, and a lot less open for abuse. This 'true zoner guard' being neutral to all including guards is a bit silly, yes you can be neutral to everyone, but if you enter their high security areas, where their guards are, expect to be chucked out.

Take for example, the army are pretty neutral to me, they don't even know who I am... but if I were to break/climb/wander into one of their high security bases I'm pretty likely to be shot/arrested. The army are still neutral to me, but they'll shoot me if i go where i shouldn't.

As I have stated before numerous times: no one is planning to enter any Guard system without permission. As for Rep-fixing AFTER you get permission, that might screw things in your Rep chart. For example:

You have permission to enter Corsair Guard turf. You go and get a Corsair bribe only to realize that your Corsair rep is GREEN (let's say the rep got green indirectly). So you can do a few things: kill Corsairs / their allies or bribe their enemies enough times. Chosing either path will more than likely screw over a lot of rep-fixing you had already done for other factions. If you're RPing a faction that has a large list of enemies, it's not a big deal. But when you're a Zoner and you have to make sure that at least 50 factions are ALL neutral to you, rep-fixing AFTER (as you suggest) could get very messy.
