This is an idea for people who wish to refresh or buzz or ping your characters on any account in order to reset the expiry date to as if you just logged in.

Benefits? It can give less account swapping or key sharing headaches for factions and individuals with large amounts of characters.

The bad thing is it will keep the character count high, but I hear that isn't much of a problem if I read majkp on another thread correctly. But correct me if I'm wrong.

So folks. Is this doable or wanted?;)

So, no extra opinions apart from a helpful reminder to the local person with a lot of supposed weed?

I think it's a fine idea. I would take it so far as to make it account wide.

You type "/refresh" and all characters in the said account are updated.

I think (do not trust me on this, log your characters) that givecash transactions flag characters as active. So just get a friend to send 100k credits to your characters if you can't access them in an emergency.

Edit: I like the idea though, it'd be good if it could be done remotely with a code or something. So you could tell your friends to keep your characters alive if you can't access freelancer.

Its a good idea, but wel all be more tempted to keep those chars and hardly ever go on em. Which is what we were doing in the first place:P
