Woah woah woah. Why are we making ships for you? The drawing is alright, besides the fin going downwards, which I don't really like compared to the FL ships, but the main body is alright. But this kinda begs the question. Why?

I'm with him, the phantoms were here contributing roleplay to the server for how long before they got their own ship line? Two years? And those weren't even new ships, there were just old ships that became the phantom line.

:rtfm:Your misspelling of 'impression' and 'cruelty' is poor English. First try. No spell check.

In my humble opinion the tag of of deaths is probably a good mechanism for instilling a bit of doubt in anyone thinking of attacking them. That's the whole point of having a bunch of people with a threatening tag, so you can interrupt any potential threat's decision making process and improve the process of your own. If they're tag for instance read "Fluff" As in Fluffy Bunny Brigade like you're implying it would kind of defeat the purpose, and certainly not do as much for them as a more threatening tag would.

I don't feel that "Deaths" is an appropriate term for a Freelancing faction, more of a gang from a 90's Batman film.

Your SHF proposal will be a little useless as a fighter as you will have to make it more sluggish than the already sluggish Spacial. I am also unsure if you can perscribe transport shields to a fighter class vessel. Interesting design, though it looks like a modified version of the Arrow rather than a bulky SHF.

And I haven't Roleplayed with you guys, so I can't say anything in regards to that, but good luck to you in any case!

Seen them on several occasions, and they stuck to diplomacy over combat in all of the occasions where I met them, all of which would have been easily sought with combat.

The only things I would recommend:

Possible name change if the RP suggests it.

Clean up the Role play Hub

Build a status sheet giving brief descriptions of what the group is, does, and its diplomacies, anything that a standard info card would have. That's going to make things a lot easier to understand who you are.

First off Deaths| tag is not a permanent thing. When we file for official statsu, we are going to file for our own ID/IFF. I guess the best example, that I have heard, is how the SCRA used Xeno ID/Zoner Guard IFF when they first tried to get things started. Thats kind of the boat I am in, trying to roleplay a Non-Vanilla group, while at the same time, having its members be able to not get //YOUR USING THE WRONG TAG/IFF FIX IT NOW!!! or completely blown out of the sky. Also it was the lesser of two evils, because Freelancer IFF/ID allows us to not look like complete noobs, especially with the Deaths| tag, and keeps pew pewers away. I should mention we tried the RP at first with a Liberty Navy tag/Merc ID, and just about every LN/LSF/LPI/Other Faction we encountered with that set up and certain ships whined/moaned/complained that we (deaths| at the time) were doing it wrong. So more as a favor to us, and avoid sanction, and Headache, we changed it to freelancer IFF/ID.

On another note, we are going to try some RP testing in Leeds, assuming its not devoid of all human activity, when we are on. The reason a majority of our RP testing was in liberty, was simply because, Liberty is one of the few highly populated Areas when we are all on.

Im not revealing my true intent for Deaths| because if the RP basis at this point becomes known, people will use it as an excuse to engage us/allies wherever we go. But...Here's a more direct description of What we do:

The ultimate goal for the RP/Group Alignment is to be an aggitator and instigator to Kusari/Bretonia and Rheinland/Liberty wars/events....while shaking hands with everyone they meet. So to shed a bit more light, instead of openly waging war against those 4 houses, and their Companies/military/other, the role of the Deaths| would be to aggitate already tense relations in house, to cause others to inadvertently do their dirty work.

Heres a basic example:

Junkers and Xenos dont get along. Xenos arent liked by Liberty Navy. Junkers have access to all 5 Houses. Deaths| dont like Liberty Navy, High Liberty Navy population in New York area, and not warring in Rheinland.

Deaths| view military build up of LN forces in the capital as possibly threatening to the Grey Men's wishes, as a fleet of that size could tip the balance of power in Gallia. So here is what the Deaths| do:

1. Size and Offensive/Defensive capabilities of the Liberty Navy fleet are analyzed. Necessary ships to take out said fleet are also taken into consideration.
2. A problem arises in that there is a large amount of Xenos present in California, causing a problem for *in this scenario* the phantoms possibility factor for success against the Liberty Navy drop from an acceptable 65% to 30%...this would require the Xenos to be dealt with.
3. Junkers Congress recieves an Urgent Communiqe, stating that the Xenos are taking Junker Hostages. Junker Congress mobilizes forces, to deal with this threat.
4. Junker fleet arrives to california to rescue Junker Hostages/Exact Revenge on Xenos. *Deaths| ship is currently orbiting Los Angeles or California Minor "training"*
5. Xenos are engaged/Destroyed adamantly denying having any Junkers in their holds. After the battle, no junkers were found, so it is assumed that the Xenos killed them, and their bodies lost in the ensuing battle, as clearly scanners showed Junkers. *reality: training Deaths| staged the event, sending original communiqe, and using their advanced electronics systems, caused the Junker scans to read Junkers in the Xenos hold, when nothing was there in the first place*
6. Junker fleet disbands, However all junkers involved in this event with the Xenos, over the next 2 months, die, whether by accident, mishap, combat, or other.
7. Liberty Navy is lured to Kepler, where the Massive phantom fleet awaits, by a trader screaming Bloody murder, and phantoms in system comms when he gets to New York, badly damaged.
8. Liberty Navy Fleet Dispatches to Kepler, LPI is left to defend New York.
9. Upon jumping into kepler to determine fleet strength, Mon'star's Necrosis is the only ship seen on long range scanners, currently alone. Liberty Navy Fleet decides to act. *Deaths| ship at ames research, "resupplying"
10. Upon starting engagement with Mon' star, a Phantom Fleet appears to "uncloak" directly behind and around the Now Trapped Liberty Navy Fleet, LN fleet is destroyed. Phantoms move on New York
11. Liberty Navy High Command, releases an official and public statement that Rheinland aids the Phantoms by allowing them access to their Cloaking Technology, Rheinland Denys this, saying its Liberty Propaganda.
12. Liberty Navy stages a massive offensive on Rheinland, keeping the majority of their fleets engaged in battle in Rheinland, and out of New York.
13. During this time, away from home, several high level politicians are assassinated in New York, causing instability, and security risk, Liberty Navy offensive Recall is ordered, to protect its Capital.
14. Rheinland focuses on destroying trade ships headed to Liberty.

ok the reality: Deaths| used an advanced Jammer Array, effectively masking the Phantoms from sight, in kepler. Phantom Fleet was Unaware of this, as they were surprised when the Liberty Navy had passed right by them. WIth LN on the war path and out for blood, minimal LN security was at New York, on planet manhattan, where the true targets, the 3 Liberty Politicians, who were petitioning for diplomatic relations to Gallia were residing. [Cartel] used prostitutes to poison, stab, and Frame the politicians, 1 died from a cardimine overdose, 1 was stabbed in his home, and 1 was arrested for Evidence pointing the others deaths were done out of lust for power by the third. All prosititutes involved are found dead by LPI, apparently by a serial killer targeting prostitutes.

That should give you an idea, of how hard it is for me to RP this, and why Faction alignment varies. Also explains why we are using the Freelancer IFF/ID
