Gallic guns can't be used outside of Gallia anyway. It'd be like Outcasts using Colada del Cids. You -might- get away with using one of their civilian ships outside, I'm not sure, and certainly don't take my word for it.

The codenames, however, are a free-for-all market.

Sure, the lawfuls might not, but what about all the unlawfuls and the Council? Wouldn't raising funds to fight the Navy be a good thing? What about the Junkers? Surely they'd see the opportunity for a good deal of profit by selling the weapons technology from Gallia to Sirius, just as they did the other way around?

Gallia being completely cut off seems to just be a negative in my opinion.

The rules override good and proper RP because a large and well-complained about chunk of the server wouldn't care about the good RP, and would focus on the good combat loadout.

Ktayn, I think that a hard-pressed Council needs every ship and gun it can find.

I play a Junker and grit my teeth to leave the guns there but I do understand why it is the way it is.

My solution at the moment is to play a Sirius Junker in Gallia and a Gallic Junker who was a spy in Sirius (which is the role Oniros had planned to play when the Congress started). The Gallic Junker has an alter ego who stays in Gallia with Gallic gear and his doppleganger goes to Sirius with gear that blends--that's what Gallic spies did.

I'm sure its possible to make an SRP request--up to the admins to call it. I also know a lot of changes are planned to be made here and there and they want to balance things.

As it stands now, its nicely balanced but it is isolated. I think those playing consistently and well there now will be in a good position in future.

The whole point behind players not being able to take weapons out of Gallia IS ROLEPLAY. I know it is hard to understand, but the "Sirius"sector (server) has been around for a LONG time. Each mod update only goes ahead "X" amount of time. It does not make sense for a "weapon dealer" to go into Gallia a month after it's existence is revealed to the rest of Sirius.

On top of that, If you mean to Roleplay getting the weapons..... How would you "Magically" become friends with Gallic Factions? What do you Have to trade to them? What would they really want in return? ( According to alot of Roleplay, they are technologically more advanced than the rest of Sirius).


So If you want to roleplay through all of that. Be my guest. But I estimate you would have to have a Book written to explain your roleplay story and Justify all of the red tape you are about to Cut through.

Think.... That's all I have to say.

How would you repair the gallic weapons on Sirius stations? How would you equip them on sirius ships? How would you even know how they work on sirius ships?

It doesn't make sense for gallic weapons to be taken to Sirius, sirius weapons to be taken to Gallia, etc.

question is this just gallic navy and police weapons or civil gallic weapons as well

How would you get past the massive amounts of battleships and other caps and dock with the bases that sell the weapons?

And then if you did that how would you get out?

Oh and the navy cant be bargained with

Ive had enough of disco for now. I might be back at the next mod release.
