I got to the party late.. waited patiently in 23 for awhile with Dab in his carrier.
Finally, Dab contacted KNF/IG, and received permission to enter Kyushu in pursuit.
I, [TAZ]Avenging Angel, stayed at the Kyu/23 hole while the Syros scouted. Syschat was silent the entire time. I finally PM'd the prom/24 directly.. something to the effect that //well, are you going to twiddle thumbs, or play the game..? No response. waited again.. Dab still hadn't located the BS. a Zoner trader flew through, RPing his pants off. Still nothing from the BS.
I PM'd direct again.. //you started this.. at least you could have the courtesy to respond or not waste our time.
I finally got a response that he was being screamed at, or sommat, and after that two privates that he had to answer the phone.
I was about to leave and head home at that point.. As Dab stated, if you're not ready to actually continue the RP, then F1 and leave. But Dab indicated he had located the BS. I saw him on map "near" the 23 hole, so inquired if he was "up or down".. I headed up, and found the Syros, 24, and half a dozen folk from AFA, KNF, and IG.. all attempting to RP the release of 24's captives, Syros being a bit insistent on having "dibs" on killing him, and myself trying to defuse the situation by talking again privately to 24. All I got were ooc complaints.
From the time I joined, til I finally got completely disillusioned and left, I don't think there were two actual lines of RP chat from Cinder, in well over an hour. He was either "busy" talking to others, repeating the same "injustices" to me over private, while I tried to convince him I would do my best to salvage the situation and get him out alive, and all of the aforementioned //ooc shouting and whining in syschat.
One hour. .perhaps two or three roleplay lines of chat during the whole period.. You tell me who's playing the game "correctly", please.
As to the "missing" posts in Obnoxious' thread, I did that. Mama Dis was trying to be humorous. It was not taken as such, and rather than have a big stink between SoB and TAZ over a bloody joke, I attempted to apologize, and deleted the posts.
To no avail, it appears. It was an embarrassing encounter. I don't wish to repeat it, ever.
Regardless of how much wonderful work and RP Cinder has done in the past, this was complete and utter bollocks, and I refuse to experience it again. Period.
And that's all I will say now or ever again on the matter. Take it as you will.
I was there for a bit with Mal. Not sure about too many details but all I can say is that I did not read a single line of in-character material from Harvester-24. All public chat that I received from him was out of character with "//" symbols.

You have sneaked into Rheinland just for the purpose to map routes to Gamma?
There is no RP way to enter with an Outcast battleship Rheinland undetected.
Again you went ooc in system chat and dared to ask why my chasing RM wing ignored that single RHA fighter instead of ignoring a hostile battleship? - this is ridiculous.
Sorry but you are playing this char like someone who has no intention to actually roleplay it.
And statements like ' It is not my fault when no RM is around to role play with' or 'why would a machine answer you who is hostile to you' are incredible ignorant and arrogant.
You are the one who is completely ignoring the roleplay of other factions, yesterday the Kusari one now the Rheinland one.
What would happen if I take my Rheinland BS and start mapping Gamma or Alpha, eh?
You people are forgetting that yes he is OC controlled and yes he is in an OC battleship, but he is still a harvester.
If you don't like his RP, oh well that your problem. But as I have said before and yes this is to Dabs reply to me, if you want to see some RP from him leave him alone and let him show it.
If you want to whine and cry about " No RP" there are PLENTY of LOLWUT cap ships around everywhere.
So my point in this is if your going to cry, cry about everyone, not come down on one player.
Read 24's special rp, his stories and read some original harvester roleplay. Until you do quit the whining.

The problem is that he has shown no RP at all. We gave him more than enough time to RP. He didn't show ANY RP to ANYONE. We sat in Baffin while he was hiding for half an hour.. No RP until he shows up 12k from us, stops, and makes a 'charging weapons' sentence. After that, demands the Nomads from my hold.. I say no.. He goes silent. Not a peep. He enters cruise, we follow to make sure he leaves, as we had just told him to leave. No warning.. Starts shooting me. We had just been flying, no talk or anything, for five minutes when he randomly shoots me.. Where is the RP there? Can you point it out, because I sure as hell don't see it.
Can you point out the RP in taking his BS to Kyushu?
Can you point out the RP in him sitting in Kyushu not responding to anyone for an hour as we looked for him? Both in-RP chat, as well as OORP/OOC private chat?
How the hell does leaving someone alone show RP? That's the absence of RP. You can't get RP out of no one being there. You have to RP when there are people there, and you have to RP when you get caught in a situation like KNF finding him with KNF pilots in his hold.
I didn't see a single peep of RP from him in-game. Maybe I'm just blind, maybe I'm just stupid. If so, please point out where he RP'd.

Repeatedly saying, "//ALRIGHT, NOW JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" and other comments beggining with "//" is not roleplay.
Additionally, if your actions piss people off and you get slaughtered by 13 players for it, then you either need to take it like a man or rethink your behavior.
