You wanna beat gunboats? Get cruisers out.

You wanna beat cruisers? Get a battleship

You wanna beat battleships? Get bombers.

Wanna beat the bombers? Yup... Get a gunboat.

Seems it just goes on in a never ending spiral of something getting horribly spammed by someone. Can we just agree to have a bit of variation -anyway- rather than just reacting to things?

Now... Running over all of that is my belief in fairness... I don't really want to start slamming people down with something they can't touch, as it's simply not cool. If the [LN] were to start spamming cruisers/battleships to deal with the swarms of gunboats, I'm willing to put good money on the fact I'd have my inbox full of moaning and whinging PM's by the end of the week.

I'm also willing to bet there would be about 9386429736425834872542 threads in this very forum saying "The Lib Lawfuls are spamming caps and it's not fair, I thought you'd solved this problem!!!" or some varient of that.

So, how do I respond to the situation regarding the vast number of unlawful gunboats? Do I carry on with the fairness thing, or do I just say "screw you guys, I'm gunna win"... ?

In Layman's terms:

Rock, . . . Paper, . . . Scissors . . . .

Simple as that . . . . . And, (I think), The way it should be . . . quit complaining and play the game . . .
;)

@ Baltar: yeah I didnt read the whole thing but I think you all get the point.

we paly on the server not on the forum, so we must change in the server and not only in the forum, however maybe its

Works for me. Sneak attacks FTW.
EDIT- actually it would be more effective if I upgraded to a OC dessie.

This is always going to be a problem in Liberty, I say just get a the LPI to swarm them... problem solved!
And if a swarm doesn't work get the LN to get some caps out.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?

I love you, too.

In your apparently desperate situation, I would sincerely reccomend to dial:

1-800-RENT-A-NAVY

to deal with some slow, annoying "tanks" if you allow me to pull a ground-warfare comparison.

Also, there are more options available:

A) Show some more self-control, it makes you 1337.

B) In a very desperate situation, you are free to call the LNS-Compensation, which is an irritatingly well-handled siege cruiser of mine, designed to take some workload off of you (and ripping rheinland battleships apart, but that's top secret, aye?)

C) go pirate with them and show them why pirate fighters and bombers are better than gunboats, as I tend to do quite often

D) get some fresh air.

E)

Actually, you just gave me a great idea.

I'll use my pirate bomber, and if any pirate gunboat shows I'll blow it up saying "I don't want to get too much attention using big ships".

Just don't send small groups of bombers against them unless there's a giant skill gap between you - you'll likely die or just teach them how to fight bombers properly.

Very true, it isn't all the pirates that are the problem. I have run across some very good ones. They are the ones that are fun to play with.

I know it was on the first page but.../signed

As for the problem, I'll even make a lawful to try to help balance out the problem. A couple of good bombers and you can drop several of these suckers...infact, I'll make one tonight.

So ... 90% of the population agrees that slavery is a good thing ... then slavery is in fact a good thing ... regardless if there is only ONE voice in opposition eh?

Think about it. Just because you and your buddies agree on an issue doesn't make it right.
