It's conceptually different than the Rogues. This is a Communist Terrorsit group a la Red Army Faction. Rogues are essentially criminals. It's more in common with Xenos.
You might have a problem with the terrorist bit. Terrorist ID's are only given out by the admins. The Xenos are the closest thing to a terrorists right now, and even they aren't allowed to be true terrorists. So this is possibly a rehash of the Xenos.
I didn't say it was a bad idea, I am just pointing out that liberty has a lot of action and that perhaps another house would be a good idea.

As for historical basis, some of the already established factions shouldn't exist then. There were no armed women wanting to create a matriarchial society in Japan, or anywhere for that matter... ever.

Sorry mate, but I doubt its a good idea...here's why
Socialism, its just not popular right now, in Liberty anyways. 99% of its economy is based on business, exports and imports. 99% of its people live in high living standards (well except for Texas maybe, Colorado is relatively middle class), but the point is, you wouldn't have enough support in RP to actually make a faction...
Furthermore, you're doing basically what the Xeno's are doing. You're planning on using Rogue and Hacker bases (I think, from what I've seen that's what I got), which makes no sense whatsoever, because it even says you're possibly going to become allies with the Xeno's...
And then you're idea is allready somewhat taken by another group...HellFire Legion pretty much fight's for the same thing you do, maybe not socialism (which is too damn unpopular in Liberty anyways), but their already fighting for Justice...it just seems like a blend of the xeno and hacker movement, which isn't feasable.

To say that the majority of Libertonians are middle-class or higher is a stretch. To say that 99% of its people have a high standard of living is ridiculous.
Man, all you people telling him he's going to fail from the start, you lot suck. Should be encouraging him to bring some good RP to Lib'ty, currently also known as the land of the retarded beaver.
Here's my tip to Shryke: try RPing it out mainly in Texas, California and Colorado. New York is the cesspool, the other systems are kinda better and bigger as well = more room for RP.

and to Koolmo: thanks for the new sig quote.
ok it is a little exagerated, but the socialist movement in Russia was successful because of its population were mainly farmers who couldn't afford an education.
In Liberty, that's different, nearly everyone can afford an education, and thus would be forced to consider that protests are much more viable option than terrorism.
I disagree with some of things you've said about Liberty (especially the 99% being in high living standards). The RAF didn't have very much public support except a few extremists. I'm not trying to create a movement for the people. I don't think very many people read the history. I specifically said the the precursor, the Liberty Worker's Party, never won an actual seat. Once the Party was revoked of its status, one man took it as an opportunity to escalate violence. Viola, an extremist movement.
Also, I specifically said LRF would only land on Freeports and Freelancer/neutal bases, not Rogue or Lane Hacker or Junker or Xeno bases.
Also, socialism may not be popular with the Liberty rich, but I'm sure it would be with the poor. Now, if youre going to tell me there are no poor in Liberty then it wouldn't really have crime either then.
As for terrorist ID, I'm not even close to being satisfied with my concept to even think of applying for one. Pirate ID will do in the mean time until I can sort things out. For instance, I wouldn't start using Xeno IDs until I've talked with the XA.
Marcus the vast majority of the Libertonian population lives in a fluctuating state of poverty, experiencing now an economic and social boom due to their declaration of war on Rheinland. The reality is that Liberty is a sham, it paints itself as an idealistic state where anyone can make a dream, but the reality is much more akin to the depressed states of the '30s.
Pockets of affluence intermix with a majority of exploited labourers and those who can just break even. The Xeno movement itself was derived from workers who felt threatened by job loss from outside sources of labour. That alone should speak to the state of Liberty. Beyond all of that you can pull back the curtain and find that slave labour is at the heart of the economy.
Liberty is a tainted paradise, it wouldn't be a stretch for one dissatisfied group to set their sights on a more idealistic socialist state and take action to in their eyes make it happen.

that's my point, the poor are sided with the Xeno's already
