Fast usually means how fast a ship turns.

At least make the arrow extremely fast. Then we could have space NASSHIP! As in impulse or cruise speed.

No it wouldn't. You see, take the guns away, take the CD away, and only have enough cargo space for the ID and necessary equipment. There you go, a bona-fide racing ship that would be really fun to race in Dublin. Or just make an entirely new ship that its sole purpose would be racing.
