Naw... don't really like the new cockpit that much, just has to many weird angles.

Kinda reminds me of the Scion tC commercials a year or so back.

"A few small tweaks makes a BIG difference".

I like them. differentiation and not too far from the originals.

kudos and good work.

It may be impossible to please absolutely everyone, but I think its possible to please the vast majority and compromise with the rest enough to keep everyone in some state of happiness. :)

(Yes, Im hopelessly optomistic. :P )

I'm both flattered, relieved, and very very happy that Ive gotten such good feedback so far.

Alot of these design ideas have been bottled up in my head since my first Freelancer play-through and I'm hoping that .86 will let them out into the universe for some fresh air.

New Wraith shots will be forthcoming, long live digital Anvil's Original ideas!

You've kept the nostalgia of the original freelancer with some interesting and exciting tweaks that don't completley disfigure the frame. So i say mega kudos man, i think you've accomplished something very good here. A definate potential highlight of the disco mod.

I beg to god that it makes it into the mod.

Please keep this project of yours going. I support it fully, you are doing a wonderful job.

I also would like to see someone who has the time to push for the rebalancing of the Mark I fighters.

Ok, as of now this is the new Wraith (a-la the original Valkyrie as seen in the FL trailer) at Johann's request.

The only change is the canted wings as requested which will officially make the Wraith the least altered MK-II.
I did exacting visual research of the trailer to get the wing angle and weld points right.

Also on display, the new Sea Serpent. Fear its venomous bite! ish.
The taking away from the below-the-cockpit space is made up for by the extended length of the top piece under the upper fin, and the fact that more avionics can go into the new forward protrusion of the lower fin.

No comparison shot because its virtually impossible to show a comparison of two ships with no X-Axis bulk.
Go look up the wiki shot of the Piranha if you need a comparison.

The lower fin does leave enough room for the chin mounted gun-point to still be used.

Nice work so far

I like the Chimaera, looks more evil :D

The front of the Hussar looks a bit too fat though. Also, the Templar (Bretonian VHF) is using Vanilla Crusader model. I like it, but some little details added might be good. So if you could try something, it would be cool.

Keep it up

Can I get a look at that Wraith from directly head on or from behind? I'd like to see exactly what the angle is, it flows parallel to the center bodies slant right?

Over all, gets the thumbs up from me.

Now to see if it can be loaded out like this.

Also, a few of your ships are ruined because of the warped textures, a re-texturing might make the matter worse or fix it, but its just a note.
