Question: Regarding server offline-time

Okay, well we all know that the server went down for a little while back there after it was updated, so no sense reviewing that part of the story.

But my point is that a few days after that happened, my router decided to crap out on me and not allow internet access from my PC at home. The one with freelancer mind you.

Now until I get that fixed, I cannot log into the game, and I understand that characters get deleted after some time of disuse, so I wanted to ask, does the time the server was down for count as days towards character deletion time?


I am working on a part time fix, I just need to back up my accounts and hand them off to someone when I get the chance. But knowing the time would help as well....I don't want to loose my stuff because of my blasted router.

I am not 100% certain, but I am pretty sure the player wipe has currently not been turned on on the new server, so I would assume that once it is turn on, all accounts will have 40 days from then before being wiped.



There is also a fair chance I am completely wrong, going to see if I can pull a /summoncannon out of my hat for you.

One day I might get motivated enough to turn on the player wipes.

If we do, we will set them to 90 days initially.
