It is looking much much better, however I am still concerned about all the texture stretching. I wish I could give you some advice there, but I am not sure of how to work with Milkshape.
I have also forgotten about jammi's concept as well. Either one could work. If free time prevents itself I may try modeling the concept in sketch up (I still have not figured out the transfer process). Either way I'll still send money should you decide that you want it, but for now I am still seeing the pixels in the texture far too clearly.
Sorry that I am such perfectionist.
EDIT: If we have too we can add new texture panels to a .mat as well. I am already considering that option with the Wanderer because an even bigger perfectionist than I, (treewyrm) still thinks that my model has far too many repeated textures.
I can almost definitely fix it, but I need you to tell me (even highlight exact spots on the pictures if possible) exactly where the problem spots are.
Its nothing but a matter of manipulating the mapping points in that area to cause less stretching.
But Ive been staring at this thing for so long I can't tell where the bad spots are anymore. :laugh:
My guess however is that you are referring mainly to the forward part of the ship, the area above and behind the cockpit and the side plating in that area...
Again highlighted pictures would make this go much faster.
EDIT;
Improvements to mapping; do they help any of the problem spots?
Yes the front looks much better. The only areas of concern I have left is the area around the front and aft wing vent, the area on the outer wing tip, the leading edge of the black part (Although the view from inside the wing is fine), and the texture around the exhaust.
