I know Vigilantes can demand contraband, I don't think its appropriate for Freelancers/Mercs to do so unless under hire by house militaries/police... but does the ID actually say whether they can or can't?

If this is the up-to-date version of the ID then its really not clear on the subject.

It sounds vaguely like you're complaining about the HS., they have left, and there has been a ton of topics about them already.

I don't think demanding slaves is reasonable, but if they blast your ship it should be fine (As there is a bounty on Slavers)

Freelancers can demand cargo if they are fulfilling a bounty that requires to do so.

Right, makes sense if you think about it logically. :)

Who were the HS by the by?

I dont think they can demand cargo... that's not a bounty, its a contract. Freelancers can only do Bounty Contracts, methinks.

Quote:Who were the HS by the by?

Group of Freelancers who hung out in the Taus demanding Cardamine and Slaves from Smugglers. They said they had a secret contract to take out smugglers, but it never was posted. Very controversial, and they left because of it.

With HS do you mean Highland Security? If so, I'm pretty sure there is always a number of them around Tau-23, as recent as this morning. Why do you think they left?

They took my salves a couple nights ago... only the pretty ones. The ugly once they left to die in space...quite the heroes...

I've seen Freelancers do this, and interacted with them.

It's really not the worst thing in the world, but they should post a contract on the forums so that the rest of us players know what's happening.

Or better yet, switch to a Vigilante ID.

Same with me. I just didn't like the fact of not having a posted contract.
